[Splinterlands] Art Contest | Dark Enchantress 🧙‍♀️

Taking as a reference the character Dark Enchantress, I made a semi-realistic adaptation of it, it was designed with slightly larger eyes, focusing especially on the details of these, I used shades of colors with low saturation to achieve a better contrast with the light effects.

The drawing was composed of four sections, body, clothing, hair and background, each of them consists of different layers, between textures and shades to reach the desired result.

Tomando como referencia al personaje Dark Enchantress, realice una adaptación semirealista del mismo, se diseñó con los ojos ligeramente más grandes, enfocándome especialmente en los detalles de estos, use tonos de colores con poca saturación para lograr un mejor contraste con los efectos de luz.

El dibujo se compuso de cuatro secciones, cuerpo, vestimenta, cabello y fondo, cada una de ellas consta de diferentes capas, entre texturas y matices hasta llegar al resultado deseado.

With quick and simple strokes we make the sketch of our witch, we place the different accessories and clothing that she wears, then in another layer we refine the lines a little more and opacify it, then taking as a reference the original drawing we choose the base colors to use.

Con trazos rápidos y sencillos realizamos el boceto de nuestra bruja, colocamos los diferentes accesorios e indumentarias que ella lleva, seguidamente en otra capa refinamos un poco más las líneas y opacamos la misma, posteriormente tomando como referencia el dibujo original elegimos los colores bases a usar.

In this step I apply shadows and general shines to the drawing, on the skin and part of the hat, I also make the facial features detailing the eyes, lips and nose.

En este paso voy aplicando sombras y brillos generales al dibujo, en la piel y parte del sombrero, además realizo las facciones del rostro detallando sus ojos labios y nariz.

Now I move to the development of her clothes, in this step I place the texture of the same and I detail even more the hat, I also determine the zones of light and dark. For the creation of her hair, first I apply a gray base and then I add volume using different shades of gray.

Ahora paso al desarrollo de su ropa, en este paso coloco la textura de la misma y detallo aún más el sombrero, también determino las zonas de luz y oscuridad. Para la creación de su cabello, primeramente aplico una base gris para luego ir colocando volumen usando diferentes tonalidades de grises.

Once we obtained our base drawing with the different tonalities, textures, shadows and light areas, we started to apply light effects, we used different layers in blend mode to add and overexpose to illuminate certain parts. At the same time we designed the handle of a light broom which we used as a light source and finally we drew a simple background according to the character.

Una vez obtenido nuestro dibujo base con las diferentes tonalidades, texturas, sombras y zonas claras, empezamos a aplicar efectos de luces, usamos diferentes capas en modo mezcla añadir y sobre exposición para iluminar ciertas partes. A su vez diseñamos el mango de una escoba de luz la cual usamos como fuente de iluminación y finalmente dibujamos un fondo sencillo acorde al personaje.
