[Splinterlands] TEMPORAL MASTER - Art Contest

Here I wanted to represent the character of TEMPORAL MASTER this time using a drawing technique a little more animated and not so polished than the one I usually use, the painting was mainly done using the flat brush, both to add colors and to make subtle blurring and mixing of shades.

To make it easier, I divided the character in different layers or sections, from the head, clothes, accessories, hair, background and light effects.

Acá quise representar al personaje de TEMPORAL MASTER esta vez usando una técnica de dibujo un tanto más animada y no tan pulida a la que suelo usar, el pintado principalmente lo realice usando el pincel plano, tanto para agregar colores, como para realizar sutiles difuminados y mezcla de tonalidades.

Para la facilidad en la realización del mismo, dividí al personaje en distintas capas o secciones, desde la cabeza, vestimenta, accesorios, cabello, fondo y efectos de luces.

First I made the sketch of the TEMPORAL MASTER, using the original image as a reference, but changing certain aspects such as the position of the hands. In different layers apply the base colors to the character, using slightly desaturated tones for the hair, skin and clothing.

Primeramente realice el boceto de la TEMPORAL MASTER, usando como referencia la imagen original, pero cambiando ciertos aspectos como la posición de las manos. En diferentes capas aplique los colores base al personaje, usando tonalidades un poco desaturadas para el cabello, la piel y la vestimenta.

Here I proceeded to develop the drawing a little more, using the same flat brush, I added a little darker tones in each section, this to achieve a certain depth in the whole design, I also designed the expression of the face.

Acá procedí a desarrollar un poco más el dibujo, usando el mismo pincel plano, fui agregando tonalidades un poco más oscuras en cada sección, esto para ir logrando cierta profundidad en todo el diseño, también diseñe la expresión del rostro.

Then I proceeded to mix and blur the colors of each section of the design, to achieve a better harmony in them, then I accentuated a little more the shadows to give more depth to the drawing. Using the circular symmetry tool, I designed the alchemy circles.

Seguidamente procedí a mezclar y difuminar los colores de cada sección del diseño, para lograr una mejor armonía en los mismos, luego acentué un poco más las sombras para darle macha más profundidad al dibujo. Usando la herramienta de simetría circular, diseñe los círculos de alquimia.

Now we move on to the part of the drawing that I like to do the most and that is to add the light effects. Already having our base character ready, I joined all the layers that compose it, then I applied a blending method to darken in the same purple color and add for the glows according to the lights that are projected in the background and the alchemy circles.

Ahora pasamos a la parte del dibujo que más me gusta realizar y es la de agregar los efectos de luces. Ya teniendo nuestro personaje base listo, uní todas las capas que lo componen, luego aplique un método de mezcla oscurecer en el mismo de color morado y añadir para los brillos en función a las luces que se proyectan en el fondo y los círculos de alquimia.
