Rent, sell or accumulate

Hello to everyone! I'm a regular Splinterlands player, currently between gold and silver league. I've been asking myself the same question for several months now. What should be rented with? with dec? with usd? And not only this,

I invested in dec to have enough to rent cards, but should I sell the cards that come out at the end of the season? Otherwise I will run out of dec to rent. What are you guys doing? Did you guys sell cards and transform them into dec? Or did you keep investing little by little and accumulate cards and sps?

Another question that I always ask myself, if they turn out to be legendary, do I sell them? Do I rent them? Is it worth renting with what they give you for low level cards? Many questions that I have and I would like to read all your answers, in order to know a little where I should go or at least what I should focus on. Accumulate cards or sell as soon as you get them.
