DAO made back the $250,000 that was given to Steem Monsters Corp. to develop Rebellion Expansion. We have not even reached general sale yet and we are already profitable. Everyone who has any amount of SPS staked are benefiting from this. My favorite method to get SPS is through gameplay (and then compound via staking rewards). A Slower Than Usual Presale

The above screenshot is taken 2 minutes after the Presale. I have participated in Presales that ended in a matter of seconds. I even missed out on part of the Land Presale because the sale happened too fast. Therefore I don't consider an instant sellout to be the best outcome. I know some players who were extremely frustrated at Riftwatchers Presale for missing out on the sale.

Above is a screenshot after 5 minutes and as you can see, the sales were slowed down. Most of the investors that planned on the Presale got in. After 25 minutes later we had over 200,000 Booster Packs sold. These won't be usable until December 5th. Yet there is enough interest even during this bear market.

Revenue from Rebellion Presale

I'm going to assume the worst case scenario for revenue which comes with a 20% discount on the $5 price + 15% Bonus Packs received. 5,000 DEC is not worth $5 at the moment. It will take some time for DEC to reach its soft peg again. SPS DAO can choose to not spend DEC while it is below the peg and there are enough assets pay for any necessary expenses for a while.

$8,000 for 2,300 Rebellion Packs

We can use these numbers to estimate revenue and built mental models of the economic conditions of @splinterlands ecosystem. 31 Hours later, we have and estimated total revenue of $845,210 from Presale with half of it going for DAO. That is a 69% profit in a matter of few days. I would like to know what made anyone vote "No" for the Proposal when it came out. The only good reasoning I can think of is wanting Steem Monsters Corp. to receive 100% of the revenue to make sure they will not face any financial difficulties.

At this rate it is possible to see all the Presale Packs to sell out without having to be burned. Burned Packs do not bring any revenue to the DAO or the developers. Based on some previous statements made by @yabapmatt, we can expect Steem Monsters Corp. to burn through $250,000 in about one month. Once Rebellion general sale is launched, it should bring enough revenue to keep the the current pace of development for years to come.

HIVE-Engine Trading Activity

Alpha Packs have renewed attention. They used to have very little trading volume. I don't know what the deal with LTC on HIVE-Engine. I don't want to research about that at the moment. REBELLION price has been falling down against HIVE since the launch. We may have come close to a plateau. The new mechanics have generated enough interest to push Chaos Legion to the sidelines. I don't expect any future Editions to beat ALPHA in value. If that happens, it won't even be a good thing. Rare and older Cards are supposed to be more valuable. That is the promise.

Do Not Forget Genesis League Sports

GLS will walk on the footsteps of SPS. Goals is not even playable at the moment (except for the team creation). I did not find Primal Hoop to be very interesting. Their NFT project has a large following. I did not research to see if there numbers have been fudged in any way. The Dinos are cute and if there are enough players who are willing to play, Primal Hoop will be good for GLX price.

What I have most of my faith on is Genesis League Goals which should be lead by @aggroed after the restructuring. The team is made of individuals who contributed to make the world's #1 DAPP. I expect them to do well.

Become A Part of DAO - It is Free!

There are 20 more days left for staking rewards. If you have SPS staked, you will get GLX. If you have GLX staked, you will get GLX + GLGT. You do not need to purchase GLX to own part of the DAO. @peakmonsters already have the interface ready to support Proposals. There will be more interface as the project gain more traction. GLX DAO is at its infancy at the moment. Thing back to the time where @splinterlands did not have gameplay. Imagine you could invest at that time.

Vote on Proposals and let your voice be heard. Soon there will be GLUSD (similar to DEC) and GLX tradable on BNB Chain. That will make it easier for more users to join Genesis League Sports without installing Keychain and managing a HIVE account. They can take care of their own keys in an incremental manner. We need to reduce friction in onboarding and make it as easy as possible for anyone interested to invest a small amount in the project.
