One of the biggest difficulties for new players in Splinterlands is finding cheap options that allow them to move up the league and start accumulating POWER. With that in mind, I decided to start a series of posts focused on presenting accessible cards that contribute enormously to gameplay.

Harvester is a card that offers, at level 1, 2 attack and 7 life, for only 5 mana. However, it is at level 3 (still playable in bronze) that it becomes especially powerful, with 3 attack and 8 health. The Opress ability the card gains at level 4 isn't especially useful, in my opinion, but the decent attack and high health make Harvester very destructive in low mana matches.

The following battle called for a stun card, but I couldn't play Stone Golem at level 5 as I was on silver, so I combined Spirit Shaman with our protagonist. In the end, the repeated stuns made the game easy, but even if I hadn't been that lucky I would have probably won with Harvester's massive attack and health.

My opponent @jiv1 was also unlucky for choosing to attack my backline, but I'm confident the Harvester would withstand attacks aimed at the frontline. My objective, which was to protect Spirit Shaman, was fulfilled, and the battle was won.

Meu oponente @jiv1 também foi azarado por escolher atacar minha linha de trás, mas tenho confiança de que o Harvester aguentaria ataques direcionados à linha de frente. Meu objetivo, que era proteger a Spirit Shaman, foi cumprido, e a batalha foi vencida.
