Daily Quest - Oct 5 - Qid Yuff for the Win

(Edited)

Today's quest is Fire Quest - not necessarily my favorite, but I decided to give it a go!

First, I looked at the fire cards that I owned. (By the way I'm at Silver 2)

The cards I will be mainly using are my Level 4 Ant Miners and Level 4 Fire Elemental. Secondary would be my Level 1 Living Lava, Fineas Rage, and Lava Launcher - all of which can be useful depending on the situation and ruleset.

Now, for the cards I rented:
I went with a Level 4 Qid Yuff as my summoner, primarily because it's the cheapest among the fire summoners. I also think it's great to pair with a Level 2 Magnor. A Level 2 Magnor has 5 melee damage and enrage - so its attack can go up to 8 damage. Piercing + 8 damage is a lot of fun!

I also rented low mana but high damage monsters: Level 5 Kobold Miner, Level 5 Serpentine Spy, and Level 5 Elven Cutthroat. Also, a Level 2 Zalran Efreet is an excellent support monster.

RESULT
I finished my daily quest in just 6 battles - one loss was against a Yodin, but I also have 2 wins against Yodin.

I'm always delighted whenever I win against expensive summoners, and because I think Qid Yuff is a very underrated (and underpriced?) summoner.

The chests were not that fun - I had 8 (yes, I have a quest potion, this was way before these got expensive, haha). Only one of which is a reward card; the rest are DEC and Potions.

How was your quest today?

Hello, @vq15! This is @anggreklestari from @OCD team. We saw that you already posted your first post here in Hive! Congratulations and welcome! However, it would be awesome if you do an introduction post. As a sample of what an intro post is, you can refer to this intro post for reference:

Keeping Up With the Buzz - My Introduction to the Hive Community

There's no specific format on how you do your intro post, but there is some suggested content that we would love to see in your post. Information like who are you and where you're from, how did you discover Hive or who invited you, what types of content you want to see here and the types that you want to produce, and what are your expectations in this platform. There's no pressure on this. You can choose whatever information you would like to share.

You can tag me @anggreklestari on your intro post then if you have done with it.

Well, you can explore the communities that are suitable for your content. You can read some of the communities in this post: OCD Communities Incubation Program

The important thing is Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog. You can't include content that you don't own without sources. For more information, check this post: Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise.

If you have questions, you can hop into OCD's Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions. For now, @lovesniper will follow you and we are looking forward to your intro post!
