Hi everyone, Welcome to my post regarding the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge. For this week's challenge, I'll be sharing my battles using a method I learned from a fellow Splinterlands player on one of the Discord servers, which is to outperform the opponent in terms of "Speed". But before going to the main discussion.........

Ruleset for this time is SPREADING FURY and ODD ONES OUT with 38 mana. SPREADING FURY is a situation where All Monsters have the Enrage ability. ODD ONES OUT is a situation where Only Monsters with odd Mana costs may be used in battles.

My Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
Give Additional 1 ARMOR and SPEED to All AlliesI use Kelya Frendul because I want one of her abilities (Additional 1 SPEED) which is quite useful in SPREADING FURY (where you will get additional SPEED and Attack Points when receiving attacks from enemy monsters)
Dodge (Lv1)Serpent of Eld has DODGE and high SPEED, it makes it difficult to attack by Monsters with low SPEED (Except Magic Monsters)
Reach (Lv1)Even though Flying Squid's Attack point and SPEED are less than 1 point compared to Serpent of Eld, he has a large number of Health Points and can be used as a replacement TANKER if Serpent of Eld defeated.
Demoralize (Lv1)Since there is no Earth Element in the list of available elements, it is very likely that the opponent will only bring Melee and Range Monsters in this battle.

I decided to use Disintegrator to reduce 1 Attack point that the Melee Monster has on the opposing side.
Tank Heal (Lv1)Even though Serpent of Eld can dodge several attacks from enemy monsters, there is a possibility that his Health points are threatened. That's why I assigned Merdaali Guardian to heal the TANKER (in this case Serpent of Eld)
Sneak (Lv1)Since I want to maximize my advantage in speed, I also have to use monsters that have SWIFTNESS or SLOW abilities (besides the additional SPEED obtained from Kelya Frendul). And my choice fell to Creeping Ooze.
None (Lv1)I rented Nerissa Tridawn because Magic Monsters in Water Release have low attack points. And in this battle I chose him because he met the requirements of one of the Rulesets (ODD ONES OUT) as well because the amount of Mana provided was quite a lot.

BATTLE START !!!

The opponent uses Tarsa (Give Additional 1 Health Point to All Allies and 1 Attack Point to All Allies Melee Monsters). Opponents also use Disintegrator and carry 1 Magic Monsters.

After all abilities are applied.....

image.png

Tarsa's Ability gives additional Health points to all opposing monsters and an additional 1 Attack point to all opposing Melee Monsters. Additional abilities from monsters in the form of reducing 1 Attack point to all my melee monsters given by the opponent's Disintegrator.

Kelya Frendul's Ability gives an additional 1 ARMOR and SPEED to all of my Monsters. Additional abilities from monsters in the form of a reduction of 1 SPEED to all monsters belonging to the opponent given by my Creeping Ooze and a reduction of 1 Attack point to all melee monsters belonging to the opponent given by my Disintegrator.

In round 1, Serpent of Eld and Flying Squid tries to attack Living Lava but can only damage 1 ARMOR owned by Living Lava. The reason is none other than Living Lava's SHIELD and because their Attack Point (Serpent of Eld and Flying Squid) is reduced by 1 due to DEMORALIZE given by Disintegrator belongs to the opponent. My last attack in round 1 was launched by Nerissa Tridawn who managed to reduce 3 Living Lava's Health Points.

On the Opponent's side, the attacks from Living Lava, Goblin Chariot, and Fire Elemental did not hit the Serpent of Eld at all. Only attacks from Djinn Apprentice managed to reduce 2 Serpent of Eld's Health Points.

The opponent's last attack in this round was ended by Tenyii Striker who managed to destroy Nerissa Tridawn's ARMOR.

image.png

The attack pattern in round 2 is not much different from Round 1, Serpent of Eld, Flying Squid, and Nerissa Tridawn attack Living of Lava and only leaves 1 Health Point for Living Lava.

Attacks from Living Lava, Goblin Chariot, and Fire Elemental which once again couldn't hit Serpent of Eld. Before being attacked by Djinn Apprentice, Serpent of Eld was healed by Merdaali Guardian. Then the second round was closed by an attack directed by Tenyii Striker to Nerissa Tridawn.

image.png

In round 3, Living Lava was defeated by Serpent of Eld. Then Flying Squid and Nerissa Tridawn attacked Disintegrator who replaced Living Lava in first position.

In Round 3 this time, many successful attacks hit Serpent of Eld. The attack came from Disintegrator, Goblin Chariot, and Djinn Apprentice, while the attack from Fire Elemental still missed. Serpent of Eld can still be healed by Merdaali Guardian.

At the end of this third round, Tenyii Striker attacks Nerissa Tridawn. But unfortunately the attack he tried to do this time missed.

image.png

In round 4, Disintegrator was defeated thanks to attacks from Serpent of Eld and Nerissa Tridawn. Then Flying Squid attacks Tenyii Striker who replaces Disintegrator in first position.

Merdaali Guardian successfully healed Serpent of Eld

The attacks of Goblin Chariot and Djinn Apprentice once again hit the Serpent of Eld, while the attacks of Tenyii Striker and Fire Elemental missed.

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)

Yes, my strategy worked quite well this time, especially the selection of Nerissa Tridawn to be included in this battle. Thanks to him, the battle went quite fast and I managed to win the battle this time.

In the future, maybe I will replace Flying Squid with a monster that has the OPPORTUNITY or SNEAK ability (like Deeplurker or Sand Worm)

Do you like This Formation?

Yes I quite like this formation, especially after seeing the results of this battle. There's still a lot to improve in terms of monster selection and placement.

And the MVP in this battle (in my opinion) is Serpent of Eld and Nerissa Tridawn. Serpent of Eld manages to dodge a lot of attacks from enemy monsters (although in Round 3 onwards, his "Sharpness" starts to decrease). As for Nerissa Tridawn, she managed to defeat a monster that I find quite troublesome in this battle (Living Lava and Disintegrator)

That was the battle I shared in the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" CHALLENGE using Formation that relies on speed. Hopefully you can get valuable information after reading my post this time,

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read. See you in the next post....

(Edited)

You swept the floor! I had to double check it wasn't one of my accounts, because that's the level I usually get defeated at. 😂

Ah! I just remembered that you previously mentioned that you have trouble using the Fire Splinter (especially the Chaos Legion edition).

So you think the account I beat was your account when it used fire splinter?

It's more that I'm used to being spectacularly beaten in general, so it seemed familiar. 😂
