Hi everyone, Welcome to my post regarding the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge. In this challenge (more precisely starting this season) I changed my explanation from the usual one that only explained 1 battle, this time explained several battles briefly.

Apart from using The Peakrider in the previous LIFE FOCUS, I also tried using the newest Legendary Summoner (Grandmaster Rathe). One of the reasons I'm interested in trying it is because Grandmaster Rathe has VOID ARMOR and AMPLIFY which look good when combined with monsters that have REFLECT.

How is the result? Let's see the explanation below....

1st Battle

Ruleset

image.png

Noxious Fumes : All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.

Healed Out : All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.

Amount of Mana Available : 17

My Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
- Give 1 Additional ARMOR to All Allies

- Change ARMOR from All Allies to VOID ARMOR

- Give AMPLIFY Ability to All Allies
I used Grandmaster Rathe in this battle because the opponent often used Magic monsters in his last 5 battles.

And this time I used a Monster that had the wrong ability matched when combined with AMPLIFY when face off against Magic Monsters. The ability is REFLECT.
Flying + Reflect (Lv5)use Conjurer Bitch in this battle because she has a REFLECT ability at level 5. and I used it against magic monsters
Silence (Lv4)Crystal Werewolf is in charge of reducing the number of Attack points owned by the opponent's Magic Monster so that VOID ARMOR does not run out quickly.
Protect (Lv3)Since the ARMOR obtained from Grandmaster Rathe isn't much, then I brought the Defender of Truth.

Another reason I chose Defender of Truth because other monsters that have PROTECT (Truthspeaker) don't have Attack points.
None (Lv2)Just as a *fill in the blanks *.
Scavenger (Lv1)Since it's in the NOXIOUS FUMES ruleset I thought that maybe some monsters would die from POISON. And it will be beneficial for monsters that have SCAVENGER because they get additional Health from dead Monsters.

The opponent uses Alric Stormbringer (same as in his previous battle). He also brings Magic monsters that have high Attack points and 1 filler monster.

Unfortunately, the ability given by Alric Strombringer doesn't have any effect because Crystal Werewolf negates it with SILENCE.

image.png

The opponent's monster attacks have a counter effect on them due to the combination REFLECT + AMPLIFY so their Health points are reduced quite a lot. My attacks only come from Defender of Truth.

When entering round 2, the POISON effect of the NOXIOUS FUMES Ruleset starts to work so that all enemy monsters lose.

Vulguine's SCAVENGER is useless in this battle, because the first POISON hit was from my team.

2nd Battle

Ruleset

image.png

Keep Your Distances : Monsters with Melee attack may not be used in battles.

Close Range : Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles

Amount of Mana Available : 36

My Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
- Give 1 Additional ARMOR to All Allies

- Change ARMOR from All Allies to VOID ARMOR

- Give AMPLIFY Ability to All Allies
The opponent has often used the combination Llama + Kron in his last 5 battles. I'm just testing, whether with Grandmaster Rathe, my formation can beat that combination.
Shield + Void + Reflect (Lv2)Because it is in the KEEP YOUR DISTANCE Ruleset, the Tanker's choice to withstand attacks from Ranged and Magic Monsters is only on the shoulders of Lord Arianthus.
Flying + Reflect (Lv5)As a backup Tanker when Lord Arianthus is successfully defeated.
Protect (Lv3)Added more number of ARMOR which will later become VOID ARMOR.
Protect (Lv4)To fight Llama + Kron it's not enough to rely on 1 PROTECT monster. so I decided to bring 1 more PROTECT monster (Truthspeaker) to the battle arena.
Blast (Lv3)The amount of Attack that Prismologist has is quite high, and she also has Blast which is later suitable for attacking 2-3 enemy monsters at once.
Snare (Lv3)Ranged Monster other than Prismologist which also has high attack points. Can help defeat Kron Undying when he is in LAST STAND mode.

image.png

image.png

Opponents still rely on the combination of Llama & Kron in this battle even though with changes to some of the Monsters they carry. One of them was that he used Failed Summoner to take first place. This is nothing but caused by the Keep Your Distance Ruleset.

The opponent also brings a Monster that has SILENCE to minimize attacks from my Magic Monster (Unfortunately I only brought 1 Magic Monster)

image.png

As a result, I managed to defeat 4 opposing Monsters in 2 rounds and with my formation still complete.

image.png

But unfortunately, Lord Arianthus had to lose in round 3 after continuously receiving attacks from opposing monsters. His position was replaced by Pelacor Conjurer.

image.png

The opponent's fifth monster finally lost and left Kron Undying. LAST STAND mode is also activated to Kron Undying.

image.png

Unfortunately, the number of Health points that can be healed by Kron Undying is greatly inferior to the Total Attacks of all my Monsters, resulting in him losing in the 5th round.

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)

In those 2 battles, my strategy did work well. But sometimes in other battles, this strategy does not go smoothly. One of the reasons is the lack of ARMOR possessed by Monsters (Grandmaster Rathe can only give 1 ARMOR). Another reason is that there are no REPAIR Monsters or HEALER Monsters.

And when meeting Llama & Kron, just using Grandmaster Rathe will not guarantee victory. Monsters with abilities like GIANT KILLER or DEATHBLOW (or maybe there are other abilities) are the ones who have a great chance to beat that combination.

For the next strategy, I will try to find several possible formations that suit Grandmaster Rathe according to what formation the opponent uses.

Do you like Grandmaster Rathe?

Yes, I like it even though I was a bit pessimistic after reading reviews from several players regarding this Summoner. I tried to get up the courage to use this Summoner because of AMPLIFY.

Previously I've tried AMPLIFY using Queen Mycelia and got satisfactory results because in Earth Splinter there are all abilities that can be combined with AMPLIFY (REFLECT, RETURN FIRE, THORN).

But in Life Splinter, I can only find and frequently use REFLECT Monsters.

That was my little review using Grandmaster Rathe, hopefully after reading this you guys get an idea for using this Summoner.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read. See you in the next post....
