I replaced the thumbnail that I usually use in every Share Your Battle post with a new one

hi, everyone. This is my second post to be included in the Share Your Battle challenge. And this time I brought a themed monster (Disintegrator) to my battle. And before going to the main discussion.........

image.png

Ruleset for this time is UP CLOSE & PERSONAL with 52 mana. UP CLOSE & PERSONAL is a situation where Only Monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles.

My Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
Give 1 Additional Attack Points to All Allies Melee MonstersUP CLOSE & PERSONAL Ruleset only allows us to use Melee Monster, but Fire is not included in the available elements. So I rented Daria Dragonscale just in case I got into a situation like this.
Thorn (Lv1)For battles that can only be played using Melee Monsters, TANKER that is suitable for first place is a Monster that has THORN or SHIELD abilities.

You can also use monsters that have DODGE or FLYING abilities to have a chance to make the opponent's attack miss (like I did in the previous post)
Reach (Lv2)Help attack the opponent's Monster who is in first position. Also useful as a second TANKER if Djinn Chwala is defeated, because Flying Squid has a fairly high Health Point.
Opportunity (Lv2)Defeat the enemy monster that has the lowest Health Point first.
Opportunity (Lv1)Help Deeplurker to defeat the enemy Monster that has the lowest Health Point. And FLYING The ability of Dragon Jumper has the opportunity to make the opponent's attack that leads to it miss.
Inspire (Lv1)The ability of Demented Shark (INSPIRE) is needed in the UP CLOSE & PERSONAL Ruleset. Because on average the opponent will use Disintegrator when encountering this Ruleset.
Demoralize (Lv2)Ability is also important in this Ruleset. with DEMORALIZE, the attacks that will be received by my monsters can be minimized later.

BATTLE START !!!

image.png

The opponent uses Kelya Frendul (+1 ARMOR and SPEED to All Allies) as his summoner. The choice is quite right compared to having to choose Drake of Arnak which has the same amount of Mana but only gets +1 ARMOR to All Allies (without an additional 1 SPEED)

After all abilities are applied.....

image.png

Kelya Frendul's ability gives an additional 1 ARMOR and 1 SPEED to all enemy monsters, an additional ability from the opposing monster in the form of a reduction of 1 Attack point for my Melee Monster by the opponent's Disintegrator.

On my side, Daria Dragonscale's Ability gives an additional 1 Attack Point to all my monsters. Additional abilities from monsters in the form of adding 1 Attack Point to all my monsters by Demented Shark and reducing 1 Attack Point to all enemy monsters by my Disintegrator.

image.png

In round 1, the opponent's Diemonshark and Flying Squid attacks Djinn Chwala and causes him to lose 3 ARMOR as a result of the attack. but the attack from the opponent's Diemonshark and Flying Squid activates the THORN effect of Djinn Chwala. 2 other enemy monsters (Deeplurker and Parasitic Growth) attacked my Deeplurker and caused him to lose 3 Health Points.

On my side, my Djinn Chwala and Flying Squid attacked Deimonshark, but the attack of Djinn Chawala missed. My other 2 monsters (Deeplurker and Dragon Jumper) attacked and defeated Feasting Seaweed.

image.png

In round 2, the opponent's Diemonshark and Flying Squid again attacked Djinn Chwala and caused him to lose ARMOR completely. but the attack from the opponent's Diemonshark and Flying Squid activates the THORN effect of Djinn Chwala. The opponent's Deeplurker attacks my Deeplurker and causes him to lose 2 Health Points.

On my side, my Djinn Chwala and Flying Squid again attacked Deimonshark, but once again the attack of Djinn Chawala missed. My other 2 monsters (Deeplurker and Dragon Jumper) attacked and defeated Parasitic Growth.

image.png

In round 3, Dragon Jumper managed to defeat Diemonshark and required the opponent's Flying Squid to fill the vacant position left by Diemonshark. My Djinn Chwala and Flying Squid tried to attack the opponent's Flying Squid, but both of their attacks missed.

On the Opponent's side, the opponent's Flying Squid attacks Djinn Chwala and causes him to lose 2 Health points. but the opponent's Flying Squid gets the THORN effect of Djinn Chwala from the attack. The opponent's Deeplurker attacks my Deeplurker and defeats him.

image.png

In round 4, Dragon Jumper defeated Flying Squid and required the opponent's Deeplurker to fill the vacant position left by Flying Squid. Djinn Chwala and Flying Squid attacks the opponent's Deeplurker, but for the umpteenth time the attack from Djinn Chawala misses.

On the Opponent's side, the opponent's Deeplurker attacks Djinn Chwala and causes him to lose 2 Health points. however, the opponent's Deeplurker gets the THORN effect of Djinn Chwala from the attack.

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)

Yes, my strategy worked quite a lot. However, there was one thing that made me worry, namely the attacks from Djinn Chwala often missed in this battle. Maybe one of the reasons is that the opponent uses a card with a higher level than Djinn Chwala.

For future strategy, maybe I will replace Flying Squid with Sand Worm so that I can defeat Disintegrator who is in the back position in this battle.

Do you like This Formation?

Yes, I like it. Especially Daria Dragonscale who incidentally is the Summoner of the Dragon Splinter. Dragon Splinters can be combined with other Splinters (elements), and that allows Daria Dragonscale to be combined with various monsters that have the INSPIRE ability to maximize attacks from Melee Monsters.

And the MVP for this battle I think goes to Dragon Jumper because he has defeated 4 Monsters in this battle, and coincidentally all the monsters he defeated have 4 Health points left before Dragon Jumper beat them.

image.png

That was my explanation about my battle in UP CLOSE & PERSONAL Ruleset using this formation. The formation still has a lot of gaps (perhaps also applies to others), and luckily I didn't meet an opponent who uses Chain Golem as a TANKER, because if I meet him there is a possibility for **Djinn Chhala ** can be defeated (if I don't beat Disintegrator as soon as possible)

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read. See you in the next post....

A good approach to double up on the melee attack as well as demoralising. What league are you playing in here?

I am now used to playing in the Silver league. But in this season, I had a chance to taste Gold III but I was thrown back to Silver I because the opponent had started using a higher card level.

I've just got enough card power in my alt account to get it into silver lll, but I don't know if I have the skill to get it past the goalpost before the end of the season. I only have one summoner past level 1 as well. 🤞
