SHARE YOUR BATTLE ! WEEKLY CHALLENGE || Mimosa Nightshade (Death Focus) || 2 Battles

Hi everyone, Welcome to my post regarding the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge. In this challenge (more precisely starting this season) I changed my explanation from the usual one that only explained 1 battle, this time explained several battles briefly.

This time I found Death Focus (Using Death Splinter to get Focus Point) as my daily mission, and it was a bit difficult because I rarely used Death Splinter (or rather I didn't find a chance to do it). use it).

Finally I rented some cards that I needed to be able to complete the daily mission. And from these cards, the card that plays an important role is Mimosa Nightshade. Below are some of my battles using Death Splinter.

1st Battle (Wrong in choosing a monster, but ends up getting a lot of HP at the end of the battle)

Ruleset

Reverse Speed : Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks

Equalizer : The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health

The reason I chose Death Splinter in this Ruleset is because Death Splinter has a lot of Monsters that have a low SPEED after Earth Splinter. Meanwhile, the reason I use Mimosa Nightshade instead of Summoner from Chaos Legion (Thaddius Brood) is because I'm still wary that the opponent will use General Sloan (+1 Attack Point to Range Monsters)

My Monster Line-Up

Cards	Ability	Reason
	Shield (Lv1)	At first I chose Harklaw because he has SHIELD to reduce the impact of attacks from Melee or Range Monsters.
	Void Armor + Knockdown (Lv1)	As the second Tanker if Harklaw is defeated. At least Djinn Muirat has ARMOR so that Melee or Range Monster attacks don't directly hit the Healt Point.
	Life Leech (Lv1)	One of the Monsters that has low SPEED but has high attack points. And if added to the Life Leech of the Ancient Lich, it makes him have quite a lot of Health Points when the two Monsters in front of him have lost.
	Sneak (Lv1)	Uraeus was chosen only to fill the available vacancies.

The opponent uses Fire Splinter and chooses Pyre as the Summoner. This gives me an advantage because Pyre gives an additional 1 SPEED to all enemy Monsters while one of the Rulesets (REVERSE SPEED) prioritizes Monsters that have low SPEED.

But I made one mistake, which was to use a monster with a lot of Health points in the Equalizer Ruleset. So I decided to skip the battle.

When I saw the results, it turned out that I won the match. so I replayed the battle and saw what happened....

Harklaw is able to survive the onslaught of attacks by 2 Magic Monsters and 3 Range Monsters belonging to the opponent (ignore 1 Melee Monster because it does not have any impact on Harklaw).

This is also thanks to the ability of Mimosa Nightshade which reduces the opponent's 1 Attack Point Range Monster and gives VOID to all my monsters.

although in the end Harklaw had to fall in Round 5, but at least he was able to survive the attacks of the opponent's 2 Magic Monsters and defeat them first.

And the match ended in Round 10 with Ancient Lich who collected a lot of Health Points.

2nd Battle (Sorry Cornealus, you can't use your abilities here)

Ruleset

Reverse Speed : Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks

Keep Your Distance : Monsters with Melee attack may not be used in battles

The reason I chose Death Splinter over Earth Splinter in Reverse Speed Ruleset is because in Death Splinter there is a Mimosa Nightshade which is devoted to dealing with Range and Magic Monsters in the same time. Another reason is that the opponent often uses Cornealus (Self-Healing Monster) in his last 5 battles.

My Monster Line-Up

	Shield (Lv1)	As a substitute for Harklaw which cannot be used in the Keep Your Distance Ruleset.
	Void Armor + Knockdown (Lv1)	Magic Monster that has its own ARMOR and Monster with the highest Mana in Death Splinter that I had rented.
	Reflect (Lv1)	Deal with Attacks from Magic Monsters by reflecting them back at the attacker with the Reflect Ability. Prismatic Energy also has high Health Points.
	Snipe + Camouflage(Lv1)	Specializing attacks on the Monster in the second position (if in the Keep Your Distance Ruleset) because there is a possibility that the opposing Monster in the first position has the ability to defend like SHIELD / VOID / VOID ARMOR
	Snipe (Lv1)	Same as Magi Necrosi
	Snipe (Lv1)	Same as Magi Necrosi

Again I met an opponent who used Pyre in Reverse Speed. The opponent also brought Cornealus in this battle.

After getting 1 Attack point reduction for a Range Monster, each Attack point of the opposing Range Monster remains 1 and it doesn't do any damage to Onyx Sentinel. The damage he received was only from the only Magic Monster brought by the opponent this time (Djinn Apprentice)

Cornealus can be defeated easily in Round 2 because of the 3 SNIPE monsters I brought (which has a total attack of 6 points per round) and also thanks to the Affliction that Mimosa Nightshade gave to all enemy monsters so Cornealus can't use his abilities.

the battle ends in round 5, and all of my monsters are still able to survive all of them (only Onyx Sentinel and Djinn Muirat are damaged)

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)

This strategy works pretty well (because I choose the battle I win) and one of the reasons is because my opponent this time is not a Summoner who has the ability to add Attack points to Magic or Range Monsters.

And when I meet an opponent who uses a summoner like Alric Stormbringer or General Sloan I have a hard time fighting him (sometimes winning, but more often losing) because I lack the Death Monster option that have high Health Points, who have high Attack Points, and who have defense skills (SHIELD, VOID, and VOID ARMOR)

The strategy for the next battle (if I get Death Focus again) I've prepared some additional monsters to fill the gap.

Do you like Mimosa Nightshade?

Yes, I really like her because she is a specialist to deal with Range and Magic Monsters at the same time. She can also inflict Affliction (cannot be healed or use healing abilities) to all enemy monsters, and that renders strategies like Double-Healing useless.

Monsters that often irritate me because of their "self-healing" abilities such as Sea Monster and Cornealus are made powerless if they get Affliction.
