Hi everyone, Welcome to my post regarding the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge. For this week's challenge, I'll be sharing my battles against Sneak Formation (Again). After I had previously relied on Enchanted Defender, This time I used Naga Brute. And before going to the main discussion.........

The ruleset for this time is COUNTERSPELL and NOXIOUS FUMES with 34 mana. COUNTERSPELL is a situation where All Monsters have Magic Reflect abilities. Meanwhile, NOXIOUS FUMES is a situation where All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.

My Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
Reduce 1 Attack Point to All Enemies Melee monsterI used Camila Sungazer because in my opponent's last few battles, he used Daria Dragonscale which has the ability to add 1 Attack point to all of my opponent's Melee monsters.

And when my opponent used Daria Dragonscale, he must have brought some SNEAK monsters. Certainly, my opponent focuses on attacking the monsters that are in the last position.
Shield (Lv1)
+ Immunity (Lv2)
I chose Harklaw to fill the frontmost position because the opponent is most likely using Melee or Ranged monsters. If using Magic monsters, it is certain that the monster's attacks will be reflected by the Magic Reflect abilities.

Harklaw also has Immunity which prevents him from being exposed to the poison in the NOXIOUS FUMES Ruleset.
Reach (Lv1)
+ Trample (Lv5)
Arachne Thug is tasked with assisting Harklaw to attack the monsters in the front position. And with TRAMPLE, Arachne Thug is able to provide additional attacks to the next monster when the previous monster is defeated by herself.
Flying (Lv1)I chose to use Fire Spitter because it has quite high SPEED and attack points even though it only has 4 Mana.
Swiftness (Lv5)I used Supply Runner because I wanted to use the SWIFTNESS that he has at level 5. By having high SPEED, it can make us defeat the opponent's monster without giving it a chance to attack or use its abilities.
Strengthen (Lv3)Shadowy Presence at level 3 has STRENGTHEN which can provide additional health points. In NOXIOUS FUMES health points are enough to affect the course of the battle.
Void Armor (Lv1)
+ Thorn (Lv5)
The use of Naga Brute this time is because the opponent is likely to focus the attack on the last monster. Naga Brute is also more suitable for use in NOXIOUS FUMES because it has more Health points than Enchanted Defender.

BATTLE START !!!

The opponent still relied on a formation that focused on SNEAK monsters and used Daria Dragonscale as a Summoner. The opponent also didn't bring any Magic monsters that didn't benefit from one of the Rulesets (COUNTERSPELL).

After all abilities are applied.....

Daria Dragonscale's ability grants an additional 1 Attack point to all of your opponent's Melee monsters. The additional ability from monsters in the form of 1 attack point reduction to all my Melee monsters granted by Octopider (unfortunately it doesn't affect Harklaw who has IMMUNITY).

Camila Sungazer's ability grants 1 attack point reduction to all of your opponent's Melee monsters. Additional monster abilities include adding 1 SPEED to all my monsters granted by Supply Runner and adding 1 Health point to all my monsters granted by Shadowy Presence.

In the first round, the opponent's 3 SNEAK monsters (Skeleton Assassin, Elven Cutthroat, and Silent Sha-vi) attacked by damaging the SHIELD of Naga Brute. However, after the attack, they were damaged by THORN and lost 2 Health points. Meanwhile, Octopider damaged the SHIELD of Harklaw.

On my side, all monsters with attack points (Harklaw, Arachne Thug, Fire Spitter, and Supply Runner) attacked Gelatinous Cube until it had 3 Health points left.

At the start of the second round, the poison effect from the NOXIOUS FUMES Ruleset reduced 2 health points to all monsters in the battle arena. 2 of the opponent's monsters died (Skeleton Assassin and Elven Cutthroat) and because of this, Gelatinous Cube gained an additional 2 Health points.

The opponent's remaining SNEAK monster (Silent Sha-vi) attacked Naga Brute and lost to THORN. Meanwhile, Octopider damaged the last SHIELD of Harklaw.

Gelatinous Cube who just got an additional 2 health points was immediately defeated by Fire Spitter. The Haunted Spirit that just replaced Gelatinous Cube was also defeated in 1 round by my 3 monsters (Supply Runner, Arachne Thug, and Harklaw) before it could heal itself.

In the third round, the opponent's monsters were left with only Octopider who had 3 points of HP left (after being poisoned at the beginning of the third round) and he was immediately defeated by a single attack from Fire Spitter.

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)

I was worried when the opponent used Gelatinous Cube, because I thought that the Gelatinous Cube the opponent had already had HEAL ability. But apparently, my guess was wrong, the opponent only has a level 5 Gelatinous Cube. I also felt lucky that the opponent was still relying on the same formation as in the previous few battles, so the strategy I used this time was not in vain. The use of other monsters was also very appropriate, one of which was Supply Runner which added SPEED to all my monsters so that Harklaw could attack Haunted Spirit first before he used the HEAL ability.

For the next strategy, I won't change it at all. Unless the opponent uses a different formation than the one I just fought.

Do you like Naga Brute (lv5)?

Naga Brute was actually one of my main monsters when I used Dragon Splinter a lot. But lately, I rarely use Dragon Splinter so I now prefer to use ENCHANTED Defender instead of Naga Brute when I have to fight formations that focus on SNEAK monsters.

Naga Brute is actually quite suitable when you are confused about which monster to use, Melee or Magic monster. But it will be even more effective if Naga Brute is combined with monsters that have certain abilities like what I do when using Enchanted Defender.

When it comes to fighting Magic monsters, Naga Brute is a bit of an underdog because he doesn't have supporting abilities like VOID or MAGIC-REFLECT that can reduce the impact or counterattack Magic monsters. Like what Lord Arianthus has.
