Hi everyone, Welcome to my post regarding the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge. In this Challenge, I will be using some cards that are unplayable in the MODERN league. What are the cards? Let's see.......

image.png

Before, I want to explain that this time I have LIFE as my Daily Focus and I'm playing in Gold III League. So I tried to rent a lot of cards whose max level matches the Gold League. But unfortunately I was only able to get a Summoner whose Maximum Level was equivalent to Silver League (As a result all my monster cards followed the Summoner I got)

Weak Magic : Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.

Amount of Mana available : 54

My Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
- Reduce 1 Attack Point to All Enemies Ranged Monster
- Give 3 Additional ARMOR to All Allies
I used The Peakrider to block the opponent's Melee and Ranged Monster attacks.
Void (Lv4)While the reason I use Clay Golem is to withstand attacks from the opponent's Magic Monster.
Silence (Lv4)Help Clay Golem to withstand attacks from Magic Monsters by reducing 1 Attack Point belonging to the opponent's Magic Monster.
Protect (Lv4)Increase the amount of ARMOR that all my monsters have after previously getting additional ARMOR from The Peakrider so that the opponent's attack doesn't immediately hit the Health point of my monster.
Flying + Repair + Resurrect (Lv2)Fixed ARMOR lost due to attacks from enemy's Melee and Ranged Monsters to increase the chances of surviving the next attack.
Blast (Lv3)Attacks 2 monsters at once in 1 attack. (Very useful when facing opponents who carry de-buff or Healer Monsters)
Thorn (Lv4)I chose Evangelist because it has quite a lot of Attack points.

Battle Start

The opponent uses Zintar Mortalis (level 5) as his summoner. Most of the monsters he brought to the Arena were Magic Monsters and he also brought monsters that gave a lot of De-buff to my monsters.

After all Abiity has been applied....

image.png

The Peakrider's Ability gives an additional 3 ARMOR to all my monsters and reduces 1 Attack point to all of the opponent's Ranged Monster. Additional abilities from Monsters come from Crystal Werewolf which gives a reduction of 1 Attack point to all enemy Magic Monsters and Truthspeaker which gives an additional 2 ARMOR (again) to all my monsters.

Meanwhile Zintar Mortalis's Ability gives a reduction of 1 Attack point to all my Melee Monsters. The abilities that come from the opponent's monsters are quite a lot, including:

  • Phantom Soldier : Deducts 1 Attack point for all my Magic Monsters.

  • Octopider : Deducts 1 attack point for all my Melee Monsters.

  • Fallen Specter :

    • Deducts 1 Attack point to all my Melee Monsters.

    • Deducts 1 Attack point to all of my Ranged Monsters.

image.png

At the end of round 1, Octopider attacks Clay Golem and damages 2 ARMOR. The attack was continued by the opponent's 4 Magic Monsters (Prismatic Energy, Djinn Muirat, Phantom Soldier, and Fallen Specter) but only attacks from Phantom Soldier did damage to ARMOR's Clay Golem. The opponent's attack is ended by Dark Ha'on.

When it was my turn, the attack from Prismologist failed to hit Dark Ha'on due to his FLYING ability. However, the attack from Evangelist managed to hit Dark Ha'on and gave a SNARE (Flying no longer works).

The attack was continued by Adelade Brightwing and ended by Clay Golem. Adelade Brightwing also fixed 2 ARMOR of Clay Golem.

image.png

The events in round 2 are no different from those in round 1. It's just that in this round, the Health points of Clay Golem are reduced because the ARMOR he has in round 2 is not as much as in round 1.

image.png

In round 3, Prismologist's attack finally hits Dark Ha'on (BLAST effect hits Prismatic Energy). And with additional attacks from Evangelist, finally Dark Ha'on can be defeated. My turn in this round was ended by a Clay Golem attack that failed to hit Prismatic Energy.

image.png

In round 4, Prismatic Energy was defeated thanks to an attack from Evangelist and Prismologist. Meanwhile, my other monsters managed to destroy all of Djinn Muirat's VOID ARMOR.

image.png

In round 5, Djinn Muirat was defeated by the attacks of all my monsters (My total attack after receiving "De-buff" was 8)

Fallen Specter lost due to being hit by BLAST from the attack made by Prismologist to Phantom Soldier (who also lost in the same round)

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)

Luckily this Strategy can work quite well, because I use this Strategy spontaneously. But unfortunately Clay Golem (and Sand Worm) can't attack optimally due to the insane De-buff that the opponent gives to my Melee monster.

For the future strategy, I might use Ranged Monsters more (and Magic monsters if needed) because the opponent (in this battle) gives more debuffs to Melee Monsters.

I might put Lord Arianthus (level 1 or 2) or Onyx Sentinel (Level 3) in first place in place of Clay Golem to withstand attacks from various types of monsters belonging to the opponent.

Do you like This Formation?

Yes, I really like it. Even before there was a new reward mechanism, this Formation (The Peakrider - Clay Golem - Crystal Werewolf - some "Repair / Protect / Tank Heal" Monsters) was the best formation in my opinion against formations that focused on magic or Ranged monsters in Life Splinter.

2 of them (The Peakrider and Clay Golem) are cards from the Beta edition, which means I can no longer use them if I choose to play in the MODERN League.

Perhaps with the passage of time, hopefully I can find a card that can replace them both in the MODERN league. But for now I'm more comfortable playing in the WILD League.

image.png

That was one of my battles in the Gold III League using my favorite formation that I shared in the "Share Your Battle" Challenge this time. WILD this time is still my choice because I'm still not ready to lose some of my mainstay cards and also I haven't been able to find a perfect replacement for them.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read. See you in the next post....

for low Mana, I usually use Lorna Shine (for life Splinter)

As for the monster, I usually bring a conjurer whore (at level 4, he has REFLECT). Sometimes I carry silvershield Assassin in the back position, and put some Monsters that have 0-2 Mana in front of her.

It is indeed a good card Lorna saves from initial attack from enemy's cards. I'll further look into other cards and give it a try. Thanks a lot bro for proving battle details.
