SHARE YOUR BATTLE ! WEEKLY CHALLENGE || Queen Mycelia (Earth Focus) || Amplify
Daily Focus this time, I got Earth Splinter. I also rented some cards (with a high level of course) and found that Queen Mycelia had AMPLIFY at level 2.
as you know AMPLIFY is an ability that can Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy monsters by 1. Monsters that have abilities as mentioned are all available in Earth Splinter.
And this time I'm going to show you a little of the AMPLIFY ability.
1st Battle

Stampede : The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed

Opponents still use General Sloan and carry 3 Ranged Monsters. Not to forget, he brought Shield Bearer so that the whole attack was on him.
Before round 1 ended, Shield Bearer was defeated easily. It was because the opposing party didn't bring a monster that had Tank Heal.
The opponent's two Ranged Monsters lost not because they were directly attacked but because of the effect of Centauri Mage's RETURN FIRE which had been strengthened by AMPLIFY from Quenn Mycelia.
Meanwhile, SNEAK the opponent's monster (Sand Worm) lost because of THORN owned by Mycelic Morphoid and has also been strengthened by AMPLIFY. Usually THORN only reduces 2 Health points, if with AMPLIFY it can reduce 3 Health points.

2nd Battle
Ruleset
Close Range : Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles
Even Stevens : Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles

The opponent uses Obisidian to optimize the attack of his Magic monster. He also brings a monster that can attack twice in 1 round (Grund and Oaken Behemoth).
Whereas I prefer Mylor Crowling in order to defeat the two monsters.
Mycelic Infantry must lose first to Grund due to continuous attacks by the opponent's Magic monsters. Meanwhile, he does not have abilities that can withstand attacks from Magic Monsters such as VOID, VOID ARMOR, or REFLECT.
Oaken Behemoth lost at the beginning of round 2 after at the end of the previous round he received an attack from Doctor Blight and managed to activate POISON.
After the defeat of the previous 2 Monsters. The opponent's magic monsters aren't a serious threat anymore......

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)
My strategy worked quite well this time. For the first battle at least I might still be able to win the match even without AMPLIFY. But it was different from the second battle. I still lose sometimes even with a combination of THORN, REFLECT, and AMPLIFY. There are many things that make me lose, including:
wrong in selecting monsters (less in number of attacks)
Lose by Ruleset
The monsters brought by the opponent are sometimes slightly different.
For the future strategy, I'm still looking for a formation that I think is suitable to defeat the opponent's formation that I met like in the second battle.
Do you like Queen Mycelia (Level 2)?
I really like the performance of Queen Mycelia in this level 2. In almost every battle I always choose her, whatever the summoner. As long as there is THORN / REFLECT / RETURN FIRE, I will definitely bring Queen Mycelia.
However, AMPLIFY has a drawback, namely if the opposing monster has the abilities I mentioned earlier, then the effect of AMPLIFY will also work for the opposing party.
