Hi everyone, Welcome to my post regarding the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge. For this week's challenge, I'll be sharing my battles using Venator Kinjo (lv2). But before going to the main discussion.........

image.png

Ruleset for this time is NOXIOUS FUMES And LOST MAGIC with 25 mana. NOXIOUS FUMES is a situation where All Monsters start the battle Poisoned. And for LOST MAGIC is a situation where Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles.

My Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
Reduce 1 Attack Point to All Enemies Magic Monster

Reduce 1 Health Points to All Enemies
I chose Thaddius Brood in this battle because I needed one of his abilities (reduce 1 Health Point) which was quite useful in NOXIOUS FUMES to speed up the opponent's defeat (because he ran out of Health Points)
Shield (Lv1)
+ Immunity (Lv2)
At level 2, Harklaw has IMMUNITY which is very useful when in the NOXIOUS FUMES Ruleset. In addition, it has SHIELD to reduce the impact of attacks from Melee or Ranged Monsters.
Strengthen (Lv3)Shadowy Presence has quite a lot of Health Points even though it only has 1 Mana. And at Level 3, he has the STRENGTHEN ability which is quite crucial in the NOXIOUS FUMES Ruleset.
Demoralize (Lv4)The reason I chose Octopider is because he has a lot of Health Points and he has the DEMORALIZE ability when he is level 3.
None (Lv2)Only used as a blank space filler.
None (Lv2)Only used as a blank space filler.
Reflection Shield + Camouflage (Lv1)
+ Immunity (Lv2)
I use Venator Kinjo because it has IMMUNITY when it's level 2.

BATTLE START !!!

image.png

The opponent uses Tarsa (give Additional 1 Attack point to All Melee and 1 Health point to All monster) as his summoner. He only has Level 2 of Tarsa (Max Level for Bronze league), but he brings a pretty annoying monster when he's in the NOXIOUS FUMES Ruleset (Forgotten One)

After all abilities are applied.....

image.png

Tarsa's Ability gives an additional 1 Attack point to all enemy Melee monsters and an additional 1 Health Point to all enemy monsters. No additional abilities from opposing monsters.

Thaddius Brood's Ability gives a reduction of 1 Health Point to all enemy monsters and a reduction of 1 Attack point to all magic Monsters belonging to the opponent (no effect because the opponent does not bring any magic monsters to the Battle Arena). Additional abilities from monsters in the form of adding 1 Health point to all my monsters by Shadowy Presence and reducing 1 Attack Point to all melee Monsters belonging to the opponent by Octopider.

image.png

In the first round, Serpentine Spy first attacked and defeated Corpse Fiend. Then Living Lava tried to attack Harklaw but his attack missed. Scavo Chemist successfully removed the POISON effect from Living Lava.

Meanwhile, on my side, Octopider managed to destroy the entire ARMOR of Living Lava and was followed by a Harklaw attack which managed to reduce 1 Health point. (Unfortunately the Xenith Archer attack has no impact at all on Living Lava because Living Lava has SHIELD)

image.png

At the start of the second round, the POISON effect of NOXIOUS FUMES starts to do its job. The only monster that loses in this round due to the POISON effect is Serpentine Spy.

Octopider and Harklaw managed to attack and reduce Health points from Living Lava, while the enemy monsters that can attack are only Living Lava which destroys some ARMOR from Harklaw.

image.png

At the start of the third round, the POISON effect of NOXIOUS FUMES starts to do its job. The monsters that lost in this round due to the POISON effect are Xenith Archer (from my side) and Scavo Chemist (from the opposing side).

In this round, finally Living Lava was defeated thanks to attacks from Octopider and Harklaw. Forgotten One who took the place of Living Lava destroyed the last ARMOR of Harklaw.

image.png

At the start of the fourth round, the POISON effect of NOXIOUS FUMES starts to do its job. The only monster that loses in this round due to the POISON effect is Shadowy Presence.

!! This is where the BUG occurs !!

supposedly after Shadowy Presence lost, the STRENGHTHEN effect disappeared. But that doesn't happen to Octopider which still has an additional 1 Health point even without STRENGTHEN.

Octopider and Harklaw successfully removed all ARMOR from Forgotten One. Then Forgotten One attacks Harklaw (Although not optimal due to SHIELD to reduce the impact of attacks)

image.png

What happened in the fifth round was no different from the fourth round.

image.png

At the start of the sixth round, the POISON effect of NOXIOUS FUMES started to do its job. The only monster that loses in this round due to the POISON effect is Octopider.

Harklaw was defeated by Forgotten One even though he had previously attacked him (and left 1 Health Point)

Meanwhile, in the seventh round, Venator Kinjo got his turn to attack first and managed to defeat Forgotten One.

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)

In this battle I didn't win at all, I was only won by BUG. If the BUG didn't exist, I would have lost this battle (and was defeated only by Summoners and Monsters of a much lower level than me.)

If it is allowed to change monsters, maybe it will replace monsters other than Harklaw and Venator kinjo with SNIPE monsters that have high SPEED (in order to defeat Scavo Chemist first) before eliminating POISON from Living Lava) and SNEAK monsters (to reduce Health points from Forgotten One first before dealing with Harklaw)

Do you like Venator Kinjo?

I love Venator Kinjo even though I've only rented it twice. He was indeed quite useful when in the Explosive Weaponry Ruleset. But at Level 2, it has another use, namely being able to survive the NOXIOUS FUMES Ruleset. Unfortunately this character is only useful for "defense" rather than "attack" because he is not equipped with a high enough Attack point.

That was not a bug. Your Octopider dropped from 9 max health to 8 max health, but that didn't matter because it only had 3 health at the time. Your other monsters which still had full health had to be lowered to their new maximum after the Shadowy Presence left play.
