Share Your Battle! Weekly Challenge || "MISS!" Save the Day

Hi all, I'm back again with Share Your Battle. According to the Thumbnails, the battle this time I won because the enemy attacks more often Miss! and saved me from Lose.(my chance of winning is close to 0% if the enemy manages to get a hit)

And for the Ruleset this time it is LOST MAGIC with 25 mana. LOST MAGIC is a situation where Magic cannot be used (only leaving Range and Melee attacks)

My Line-Up (This time not fire)

Cards	Ability	Reason
	-2 Shield to All Enemies	Because Magic cannot be used in this Ruleset, there is a possibility that the enemy will rely on Shield and Protect abilities to defend against Melee and Range attacks
	Thorn (Lv1)	Deals 2 damage to the enemy in the first position when the enemy attacks Venari Knifer (This will be useless if the enemy chooses a lot of Ranged Attack based monsters in the rear)
	Opportunity (Lv1)	Deals 2 damage to the enemy in the first position when the enemy attacks Venari Knifer (This will be useless if the enemy chooses a lot of Ranged Attack based monsters in the rear)
	Slow (Lv1)	Since Speed is very important, I use Creeping Ooze so that my monsters have a chance to finish off the opposing monster first
	Sneak (Lv1)	If Venari Scout is tasked with eliminating the leading 3 positions, Goblin Thief will finish off the rear position (especially with the number of attacks it has)
	Scavenge (Lv1)	Help Venari Knifer finish off the monsters in first position
	Sneak (Lv1)	withstand 2 enemy attacks that have the Sneak ability

BATTLE START !!!

The enemy uses General Sloan (+1 Range Attack to All Allies) which makes Venari Knifer quite threatened (Thorn has no effect on Range Attack). Chaos Knight in the leading position makes it quite difficult to beat without Magic. After all abilities have been applied.....

The enemy had applied Protect (+2 Shield to All Allies) belonging to Truthspeaker, but it was canceled by my summoner's Ability (Wizard of Eastwood). So the Enemy only got Buff from General Sloan and De-Buff from Creeping Ooze, while my side didn't get any Buff at all.

In Round 1, the enemy's attacks are often Miss! when aimed at Venari Knifer (only 1 attack from Pelacor Arbalest hits her once). Meanwhile, on my side, Venari Scout's attack can defeat Truthspeaker and 2 monsters with the Sneak ability can destroy the enemy monsters at the rear. (I just lost Creeping Ooze)

Again, the attack pattern in round 1 was repeated again, the enemy's attack failed on Venari Knifer and the attack on my side was able to overthrow 2 enemy Monsters that were in the rear position....

In Round 3, finally Venari Knifer fell due to the attack of Chaos Knight (but thanks to that, the effect of the Thorn ability made Chaos Knight also fall). And in the end the enemy lost in Round 3.......

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

To be honest, I was quite surprised by the results I got. If it wasn't for the enemy repeatedly getting Miss!, maybe the result would be different. Moreover, coupled with the presence of Pelacor Arbalest who has the ability to attack 2 times, it would be very possible if my Venari Knifer could fall in Round 1.

For future strategy (if I meet General Sloan again) I will use a Monster with Ability Shield in first place. And for other monsters, I will use the Sneak and Tank Heal abilities more.

Do you Like Venari Knifer? (MVP for This Match)

I quite like Venari Knifer because it has the Thorn ability and it's also available for free in the Phantom cards deck (besides Cursed Windeku in Dark). However, if Venari Knifer and Cursed Windeku are met in battle, it's highly likely that Cursed Windeku will win it (if there is no Miss!)

That was my discussion about Share Your Battle this time. According to my observations, after changing Phantom cards deck to Untamed and Chaos Legion, Miss! occurs more frequently (even without special abilities). And that makes the battle results vary even though using the same formation. And for the next Share Your Battle, maybe I'll go back to discussing wins that are obtained normally (or because of luck) See you in the next post....
