Hi, everyone. Welcome to my post. In the Social Media Challenge, I will discuss anything about SPLINTERLANDS, it can be about cards, abilities, rulesets, battle reviews, End of Season results, or my playing experience.

In this post, I will share some unique facts (in my opinion) after all the cards (?) from the Rebellion edition appeared on the Mavs Server. Like about abilities, future strategies, and other things.

All Rebellion Cards have been revealed

In the previous post, I shared some cards that were officially released by #Splinterlands, earlier this week on the MAVS server, all the cards (?) from the REBELLION edition were shown and tested whether the abilities of the monsters were appropriate or too Overpowered and needed to be fixed so as not to break the balance in the game.

For those who don't know, the REBELLION edition will be officially released on December 5 (less than a week). And Splinterlands has promised to show all cards from the REBELLION edition on the MAVS server for testing.

I won't show you all the cards from the REBELLION edition, but you can check out one of the links above created by some users. This time, I will give you some opinion points after seeing all the cards from the REBELLION edition.

Some abilities that are not in REBELLION

Despite introducing 5 new abilities, none of the monsters in REBELLION Edition (as far as I can see) have any of these abilities. I don't know if it's because these abilities are only specialized for certain editions, or maybe these abilities will be on Airdrop cards, or there are other reasons that I might not know.

For those of you who are wondering what abilities (as far as I can see) are not in the REBELLION edition, I will write them down below:

MARTYR

MARTYR is one of the abilities introduced along with the presence of Soulbound Cards in the rewards chest. MARTYR is an ability that can add 1 point to all stats of the monster next to it when the monster with this ability is defeated.

So far there are only 6 cards that have this ability, 5 of which are Soulbound cards (cannot be traded). While 1 card (Vruz) which is Dragon SPLINTER is a promo card that is obtained for free for anyone who has STAKED SPS (1000 Staked SPS = 1 BCX). and can be traded.

I was hoping that DEATH Splinter, which didn't get a MARTYR monster on the Soulbound card, would get one in this edition of REBELLION. Because I want to use a combination of 2 MARTYR monsters on DEATH Splinter like I can on other elements.

GIANT KILLER

GIANT KILLER is an ability that only appears in the CHAOS LEGION edition and there are also some monsters that have this ability in the mini edition of CHAOS LEGION (RIFTWATCHER).

GIANT KILLER is an ability that deals 2 times the damage when successfully attacking a monster that has a Mana of 10 points or more. Currently, there are 12 monsters that have this ability, most of them are owned by monsters from CHAOS LEGION, followed by monsters from RIFTWACHER, and only 1 monster from Soulbound Reward Cards has this ability (Swamp Spitter).

So far I haven't seen a single monster from the REBELLION edition have this ability, even though the REBELLION edition also has monsters with high Mana (10 points or above). Is this ability specialized only for monsters from certain editions?

DEATHBLOW

And the last ability that is not in REBELLION EDITION is DEATHBLOW. DEATHBLOW is an ability that deals double damage if the target is the last (or only) monster left on the opponent's side. This ability is actually very suitable when facing opponents who usually use a combination of Sacred Llama and Kron the Undying and the like. It can also be used to quickly defeat monsters with a lot of health (due to LIFE LEECH or SCAVENGER abilities).

There are only 7 monsters that have this ability and five of them are from CHAOS LEGION Edition. Maybe I can figure out the reason behind this ability not appearing in the REBELLION edition, this ability has rarely been used (by me) since its inception until now because the conditions as I described above do not occur often.

Each Element only has 2 kinds of combinations in Dual-Elements Summoners

As you can see above, there are only 4 Dual-elements Summoners and each element only has 2 kinds of combinations with other elements. Fire with Earth or Dark, Earth with Fire or Life, Life with Earth or Water, Water with Life or Death, Death with Water or Fire.

Has this been decided beforehand and the other combinations will only come in the edition after REBELLION? We'll see...

DEATH is an element that is worse than the others

Why would I say that? The reason is that the DEATH Splinter in REBELLION Edition doesn't get some abilities that other elements have. The abilities that DEATH Splinter doesn't have in REBELLION Edition include:

• Tank Heal

  An ability that can heal TANK (or monsters in the front position). This ability last appeared in DEATH Element during Beta Edition and was possessed by Corrupted Pegasus. Until now, this ability has not reappeared in DEATH Element.

• FLANK and WEAPON TRAINING

  FLANK is an ability that grants REACH ability to Melee monsters in the second position (if they don't have SNEAK or OPPORTUNITY ability). This ability does not exist in Death Element probably because there are no melee monsters with high Attack power there.
  
  While WEAPON TRAINING is an ability that grants Attack power to No-Attack monsters the amount of Attack Power received is the same as the owner of this ability (with a maximum limit of 4 Attack points). Even though Death Splinter in REBELLION Edition has 2 No-Attack monsters, none of the monsters have this ability even though they have high Attack power (especially Magic monsters).

This ability only exists when Max level?

Oppress is an ability that deals twice the damage to No-Attack monsters (even if No-attack monsters get attack power from WEAPON TRAINING). In other editions, this ability can be used in any league (from NOVICE to GOLD) depending on the card. But in the REBELLION edition, we can only use this ability in the highest league (DIAMOND and CHAMPION). Even though the REBELLION edition has at least 1 No-Attack monster per element.

My strategy so far will be defeated just by using this monster?

The strategy I discovered more than half a year ago and used frequently in GOLD LEAGUE will be ruined by the presence of this monster. The strategy I used relied on the additional STATS from defeating MARTYR monsters + High SPEED + dodge ability (FLYING, DODGE, or PHASE) + BLIND ability. Chaos Lackey already had a way to deal with that even when he was in the Silver League.

Chaos Lackey has a DISPEL ability that can remove buffs and additional STATS that come from MARTYR and BLOODLUST abilities. Maybe when he was still at levels 1 - 4 I could avoid him with the strategies I mentioned above. But when it reaches level 5, Chaos Lackey gets the TRUE STRIKE ability which makes his attacks not miss even if he is hit by BLIND or loses the speed advantage.

If the ability of Chaos Lackey doesn't change anymore, then I have to find a new Strategy to survive in the GOLD LEAGUE.
