Janni Rebel

Janni Rebel is one of the Rebellion edition SOULBOUND REWARD CARDS. Janni Rebel is a rare magic unit dedicated to Life Element. When viewed from the statistics, Janni Rebel is more likely to have a significant increase in HP, while SPEED and attack power only increase by 1 point each even with such a large amount of Mana.

Janni Rebel has a maximum of 3 abilities and has gotten 2 abilities at the first level. FLANK which is her first ability is an ability that grants REACH ability if Melee units are placed behind her. REACH is an ability that allows Melee units to attack the opponent's TANK even though they are in the second position. So to maximize FLANK and REACH abilities, Janni Rebel must be placed in the first position and Melee units behind it (second position).

INSPIRE is her second ability and This ability is very suitable to be paired with FLANK ability because INSPIRE will give additional attack power to all Melee units in the team and if behind Janni Rebel there is a Melee unit, then the Melee unit can get additional attack power without fear of taking damage from attacks launched by the opponent's TANK (because he is behind Janni Rebel).

And for the last ability of Janni Rebel, she will only get it at her highest level (8). DIVINE SHIELD is an ability that protects her from damage caused by the first attack launched by the opponent. So no matter how big the first attack the opponent will launch, Janni Rebel will not receive damage and will only lose her DIVINE SHIELD .

Battle

The ruleset for this battle is AIM TRUE (attacks from each unit never missed), FIVE ALIVE (Only allowed to bring a maximum of 5 units in this ruleset), and ODD ONES OUT (Only units that have an odd Mana may be used in this ruleset).

In the first round, Frigid Wolf was defeated by Lira the Dark. But luckily he could still be resurrected by Commander Goff using the RESURRECT ability. Meanwhile, Pelacor Bandit who targeted Commander Goff could only damage his DIVINE SHIELD .

Gem Meteor targeted his attack at Lira the Dark but was healed by Angelic Mandarin. Angelic Mandarin and Djinn Muirat attack Janni Rebel. Commander Goff, Janni Rebel, and Jared Scar attacked Djinn Muirat. Janni Rebel was hit by a counterattack from Djinn Muirat through her MAGIC REFLECT ability. Meanwhile, the big attack given by Jared Scar only dealt 1 point of damage to Djinn Muirat because the FORCEFIELD ability protected him.

In the second round, Frigid Wolf lost again to Lira the Dark. Meanwhile, Janni Rebel was defeated by Djinn Muirat and Angelic Mandarin. Pelacor Bandit managed to inflict a poison effect on Commander Goff when he attacked him. Gem Meteor targeted his attack on Angelic Mandarin but he managed to heal some of his HP. Commander Goff and Jared Scar attacked Djinn Muirat though Jared Scar's attack was minimized by Djinn Muirat's FORCEFIELD ability.

In the third round, Lira the Dark targeted her attack at Gem Meteor and she succeeded in giving him a poison effect. Commander Goff, who lost 2 HP at the start of the round due to the poison effect, took another hit from Pelacor Bandit even though it only destroyed his ARMOR.

Angelic Mandarin healed his HP and attacked Jared Scar who was now in first place. Djinn Muirat was defeated by Commander Goff. The Pelacor Bandit who replaced him was also defeated by Gem Meteor and Jared Scar. Jared Scar received an extra point through BLOODLUST because he made the final touch.

Commander Goff and Gem Meteor lost 2 HP due to the poison effect they received in the previous round. Gem Meteor immediately lost while Commander Goff was still standing even though he also had to take an attack from Lira the Dark in this fourth round.

The first-placed Angelic Mandarin could only heal Lira the Dark. Afterward, Angelic Mandarin was defeated by Commander Goff and Jared Scar. Again, Jared Scar received an extra point because he was the one who took the final blow.

In the fifth round, Commander Goff fell due to the effects of the poison he received. Lira the Dark who could not do anything in the first position was defeated by Jared Scar so Jared Scar received another stats increase through the BLOODLUST ability.

The Ever-Hungry Skull which was the last unit on the opposing side could only be defeated in the seventh round because the number of Attack points Jared Scar had was still insufficient to defeat it in one attack.

Battle Review

Although it can be said that Janni Rebel is not suitable to occupy the first position because of the lack of protection and only relies on the amount of HP he has, at least in this battle Janni Rebel can be useful as a protector for Jared Scar who occupies the second position. Jared Scar himself is also weak in defense despite having considerable Attack power and abilities that are suitable for attacking.

I didn't expect the opponent to choose TANK which has the FORCEFIELD ability. I was confident because Jared Scar received an additional 2 Melee attack powers from Janni Rebel and Commander Goff which could have defeated the opponent's unit in one attack. But that advantage was broken by the FORCEFIELD which made the damage received by the opponent only 1 point when receiving attacks from Jared Scar.

Luckily, I still have Commander Goff to help with the attack so that the opponent's FORCEFIELD unit can be defeated and Jared Scar can defeat the other opponent's units using his huge Attack power (coupled with BLOODLUST which increases his stats including his attack power).
