Hello everyone and welcome again!

Once again we are here with a battle challenge in Splinterlands, This time is the turn of splinter fire with a card that I don't use much and that making this challenge made me get a surprise, because I didn't know it had so much potential in the battle. I'm talking about Molten Ash Golem, let's review its stats, how it can be used in battles and then a description of how I did in the battles using it, don't miss it!

In case you don't know it...

Introducing Molten Ash Golem!

Edition: Chaos Legion.
Rarity: Rare.
Element: Fire.
Attack: Ranged.
Mana Cost: 6 points.

Abilities:

  • Close Range at lvl 1

  • Weaken at lvl 5

  • Demoralize at lvl 8

An the market cap of this card is:

Its regular version is at an incredibly low price of only $0.049 in a combined phase and a single BCX costs you right now $0.061, both are prices that you can take advantage of.

Its gold version can be purchased right now for 1.18$ in a combined phase, and a single BCX for 1.22$.

How to use Molten Ash Golem?

This card has a very high life and the ability Close Range so it could perfectly be used as a tank and it will do it wonderfully, it has very little damage but its focus is more on being a defensive and support card, for its high life and also for its abilities. My favorite way to play it is in the second position as a substitute for the main tank, so it provides support, does damage and with its Demoralize it can combine excellently with a tank that has the Shield ability, like Living Lava for example.

Round 1

  • Because of the ruleset, I use Radiated Scorcher first, looking for his ability to destroy some armor.

  • Antoid Platoon is my real tank, with his Shield ability he can take a lot of hits.

  • Radiated Brute is one of my favorite cards of this splinter, it works very well with Tarsa.

  • Molten Ash Golem would be the support and the last tank of my team in case it's necessary, it's also useful if your opponent uses Snipe.

  • Serpentine Spy is a dangerous card that you have to play whenever you can, with Tarsa it becomes very powerful and with this ruleset more, because it gives more durability.

  • Tenyii Striker is another strong card that I love, with the increased attack is very dangerous and with his Sneak knocks down opponents strategies very easily.

Round 2

image.png

The first round was not very kind to my team and my opponent had a clear advantage. Including Antoid Platoon was decisive because those extra turns that he holds thanks to his ability is what makes me win this game. And much more important will be my Molten Ash Golem, which with that huge amount of life will hold all the damage of the enemy so that my cards with damage do theirs.

Round 3

His first card fell, and although it was the weakest of all, that left the way free for my Serpentine Spy to destroy the opponent, and Tenyii Striker was just one hit away from finishing with another very annoying card, Venari Crystalsmith.

Round 4

image.png

This is where I really won this battle. My Molten Ash Golem is going to hold off Time Mage and Djinn Renova while my Serpentine Spy takes out Pelacor Arbalest before he can attack, then Tenyii Striker takes out Time Mage's armor and from that point on, the advantage is mine. Also, since his tank has no attack, it takes away from the danger of his lineup.

Round 5

Round 6

image.png

Both Time Mage and Djinn Renova are very dangerous cards when combined, but by themselves they do not represent any threat, since their main attraction is to be supports and they do not have much life, although Renova can give surprises for its attack.

Round 7

image.png

At this point there was nothing left for him to do. His mistake was to focus his team on the type of attack that his summoner did not support.

How was my experience with this card?

As I said before, I had not used this card many times and I think that was a mistake because it is very good, it serves a lot as a support tank and that has an incredible potential even though Tarsa does not benefit him at all, I think it is an essential card in your deck and also has a very good price right now, so it is excellent to take advantage and buy it.
