Hablemos de Splinterlands: Cartas con ataque mágico [ESP-ENG]

La semana anterior hablé de las cartas sin ataque y esta vez voy a hablar sobre un tipo de ataque en especifico, las cartas de ataque mágico. Cartas muy fuertes que tienen una particularidad y es que su ataque ignora la armadura del enemigo y eso las hace muy peligrosas en las batallas, pero eso es solo el principio, vamos a analizarlas mas a fondo.

The last week I talked about cards without attack and this time I am going to talk about a specific type of attack, the magic attack cards. Very strong cards that have a particularity and that is that their attack ignores the enemy's armor and that makes them very dangerous in battles, but that's just the beginning, let's analyze them more in depth.
¿Como han evolucionado?
- En la edicion Alpha solo el 20% de las cartas eran de ataque magico, 12 cartas de un total de 59. La razon de esto es justamente esa habilidad invisible de atravesar armadura, lo que les daba ventaja sobre los demas tipos de ataque.
How did they evolve?
- In the Alpha edition only the 20% of the total amount of cards were magic attack cards, 12 cards out of a total of 59. The reason for this is precisely that invisible ability to go through armor, which gave them an advantage over the other attack types.
- En la edicion Beta entró el que quizás sea el invocador mas importante de este tipo de ataque, Valnamor, que en ese momento solo podia invocar a 8 cartas con este tipo de ataque pero que conforme avanzaran las ediciones se iba a hacer cada vez mas importante.
- In the Beta edition entered what is perhaps the most important summoner of this type of attack, the mighty Valnamor, which at that time could only summon 8 cards of his edition with this type of attack but as the editions progressed it would become more and more important.
- Otras 15 cartas de ataque magico llegaron con Untamed, hasta ahora la edicion que mas cartas habia añadido, y en la que llegaron cartas magicas que incluso en el meta actual siguen siendo muy poderosas y tambien aparecieron los primeros invocadores anti magia, Bortus y Mimosa.
- Another fifteen magic attack type cards came with Untamed edition, so far the edition that had added the most cards, and in which came magic cards that even in the current meta are still very powerful and also the first anti-magic summoners, Bortus and Mimosa, appeared.
- Con la mini edición Dice, llegó otro invocador anti magia y solo 6 cartas de ataque magico, pero en esta edicion llego la particularidad de que aparecieron las primeras cartas de ataque doble de este tipo, ademas de mucho mana, Kralus y Oaked Behemoth tenian ataque Melee y tambien ataque magico.
- With the Dice mini edition, came another anti-magic summoner and only 6 magic attack cards, but in this edition came the particularity that the first double attack cards of this type appeared, in addition to a lot of mana, Kralus and Oaked Behemoth had Melee attack and also magic attack.
- Chaos Legion hizo historia introduciendo en su edicion a 23 nuevas cartas de ataque magico (de un total de 91) y tres invocadores relacionados a la magia, Obsidian que aumenta el ataque magico y Grandmaster Rathe junto a Thaddius Brood, ambos invocadores con habilidades anti magia. Esta nueva edicion abrio las puertas a un juego mas complejo y situacional que antes, y eso hizo que se hiciera aun mas estrategico y ademas, tambien introdujo a la carta de mas alto costo de mana hasta ese momento, Chaos Dragon, que por supuesto es de ataque magico.
- The Chaos Legion edition made history by introducing in its edition twenty-three new magic attack cards (out of a total of 91) and three magic related summoners, Obsidian for Earth, that increases the magic attack and Grandmaster Rathe together with Thaddius Brood for Life and Dead respectively, both summoners with anti-magic abilities. This edition opened the doors to a more complex and situational game, and that made it even more strategic and also introduced the card with the highest mana cost up to that moment, Chaos Dragon, which of course is a magic attack card.
- Con la ultima mini edicion, Riftwatchers, el juego entero se ha convertido mas en la situacion que en la potencia de las cartas, uno de los seis invocadores es anti magia y 10 cartas de 33 son de ataque magico, con otra particularidad y es que esta mini edicion rompio el record de Chaos Dragon, que vale 14 puntos de mana, trayendo un nuevo dragon, Agor Longtail que cuesta 15 puntos y esta vez vino con ataque doble, melee y magico.
- With the latest mini edition, Riftwatchers, the whole game has become more about the situation than the power of the cards, one of the six summoners is anti magic and 10 cards out of 33 are magic attack, with another particularity and that is that this mini edition broke the record of Chaos Dragon, which is worth 14 mana points, bringing a new dragon, Agor Longtail which costs 15 points and this time came with double attack, melee and magic.
¿Como son estas cartas en batalla?
Incluso los nuevos jugadores se dan cuenta rapido de lo fuerte que pueden ser estas cartas si no se toman medidas contra ellas, la armadura es un punto importante en la defensa y como estas cartas la ignoran al hacer daño, hay que tener mucho cuidado al enfrentarlas.
How are these cards in battle?
Even the new players quickly realize how strong these cards can be in a battle if you don't take measures against them, armor is an important point in defense and as these cards ignore it when dealing damage, you have to be very careful when facing them.
Obsidian vs Mylor, Modern
Mylor es el invocador mas peligroso que hay cuando juegas con cartas Melee, pero si tu alineacion es de cartas magicas entonces ya queda practicamente anulado. Las habilidades juegan el papel mas importante claro, Goblin Psychic cura a tu tanque y al mismo tiempo no deja que el tanque enemigo lo haga, y baja el ataque magico. Venari Spellsmith hace que el Venari Knifer haga mas daño con sus espinas, Regal Peryton se volvera intocable para los no magicos si recibe daño gracias al ruleset y la velocidad aumentada, y todo eso potenciado con ataque muy fuerte y que ignora armadura.
Mylor Crowling is one of the most dangerous summoner when you play with Melee cards, but if your lineup is Magic cards then it is practically nullified. The abilities play the most important role of course, Goblin Psychic heals your tank and at the same time doesn't let the enemy tank do it, and lowers the magic attack. Venari Spellsmith makes the Venari Knifer do more damage with his spines, Regal Peryton will become untouchable for non-magics if he takes damage thanks to the ruleset and the increased speed, and all that boosted with very strong attack and ignores armor.
Byzantine Kitty vs Byzantine Kitty, Wild
Otra caracteristica muy versatil de estas cartas y que hasta ahora no habia mencionado, es que pueden atacar desde cualquier posicion y por eso no encajan en un solo lugar, pueden ser tanques, apoyos, señuelos, de daño, lo que necesites. En esta batalla tenemos de todos los ejemplos posibles, Mycelic Slipspawn como señuelo, Runemancer Florre como daño masivo, Spirit Hoarder como apoyo y en algun momento, veremos a Djinn Muirat como tanque. Las cartas magicas son las mas versatiles de todo el juego sin ninguna duda.
Another very versatile feature of these type of cards that I had not mentioned so far on the post, is that this magic cards can attack from any position and therefore do not fit in one place, they can be tanks, support, decoys, damage, whatever you need. In this battle we have all the possible examples, Mycelic Slipspawn as a decoy, Runemancer Florre as massive damage, Spirit Hoarder as support and at some point, we will see Djinn Muirat as a tank. Magic cards are the most versatile cards in the game without a doubt.
Brighton Bloom vs Delwyn Dragonscale, Wild
Aqui vemos dos equipos que combinan tanques anti magia con cartas magicas detras, supongo que ambos jugadores sabian que irian contra alineaciones magicas y actuaron en consecuencia, aqui son las habilidades de las cartas las que hacen la diferencia, el Robo-knight Dragon devuelve el daño de ataques Ranged y el jugador de arriba puso tres cartas con ese ataque, una batalla emocionante, en la que queda claro el por que de la gran potencia que tienen las cartas.
Here we see two teams that combine anti-magic tanks with magic cards behind supporting those tanks, I guess both players already knew that they would go with magic lineups and acted accordingly, again it is the abilities of the cards that make the difference, the Robo-knight Dragon returns the damage of Ranged attacks and the player above put three cards with that attack, an exciting battle that you can not miss, in which it is clear why of the great power that these cards have.
A diferencia de las cartas sin ataque, estas cartas son muy utilizadas desde el rango novice hasta champions, practicamente en toda batalla que permita su uso vas a ver al menos una de estas cartas pues si no es por su daño seguro, entonces sus habilidades de apoyo seran las que te hagan querer usarlas. Yo por ejemplo utilizo muchisimo al Spirit Hoarder y al Doctor Blight, son dos de mis cartas favoritas de este tipo. ¿Las tuyas cuales son? ¡Dejamelo en los comentarios!
Unlike the cards without attack of my other post, these cards with magic attack are widely used from novice to champions ranks, practically in every battle that allows their use you will see at least one of these cards because if it is not for their sure damage, then their support abilities will be the ones that make you want to use them.
