Low Mana? Let's go with the Carrion Shade!
Hello everyone and welcome again!
We are back with a new Battle Challenge in #Splinterlands, this time it's the turn of one of my favorite cards, the Carrion Shade, I really like its design and I know it's made to inspire terror but I find it very cute and I like to use it because in bronze there are many battles with little mana and this card is perfect to use in those battles, and in this post I'll explain why, so take a seat and enjoy!

Introducing Carrion Shade!

Element: DEATH.
Attack: MELEE.
Abilities: Fly at lvl 3
An as the lore says:
A carrion shade is a dark-winged bird that feeds off of the dead bodies of animals and people. They often flock to battlefields and dangerous parts of the wilderness where there are sure to be corpses. They travel in small groups and have no natural predators. Most people fear the carrion shades, though. For to see a group following you is to know your life is in danger. Tales whispered by the elder wise women claim that if you see a single carrion shade perched outside your home, then someone you love will die that night.
When checking the stats of this card you will realize something obvious and that is that unless the ruleset allows it, you will not get much out of it in high mana battles so it is made for 20- mana battles. But there is a good exception here and its low mana cost and attributes can be a pleasant surprise for you in all kinds of battles if you use it as a decoy for annoying enemy abilities, like Sneak and Opportunism and learning Fly from Bronze rank you already have a good advantage facing cards with Melee and of course, needless to say that it is perfect for earthquake. For less than 4 cents you can buy a BCX of this card, isn't it great? and its Gold Foil version for less than 1$! it's a bargain!
How to use the Carrion Shade?
Well, above I explained it a little, the ideal is that when you have the Fly ability you place it in the last position to mislead enemies with Opportunism and Sneak and why not, try to dodge any attack, too bad it has attack because if it did not have it would also serve to mislead the Snipe, but do not let that stop you.
It can also be used as a mini tank (because the Fly ability) and as a secondary tank that ''gives'' you one or two extra hits in a battle while other cards do their job, it has a very important role that many opponents tend to overestimate, use that to your advantage.
I think it works very well combined with cards that unfortunately are not among the ghosts but can be acquired at very good prices right now, such as Harklaw, Djinn Muirat and Lira The Dark, and if you like to play to increase the speed to increase the Dodge, you will love to combine it with Lira and Supply Runner for example.
And for last, My Battle!

Lately opponents (and bots mostly) are looking for new ideas for battles avoiding the usual strategies like Earth magic, and you can use that to your advantage to improvise your own strategies as well..

| Carrion Shade | In this specific battle I placed the Carrion in second position but the battle would have been much better if I had placed it at the end. It still fulfills its function in both parts. |
| Death Elemental | Its magic damage + Snipe and a good speed are key in many battles, you will be surprised by the damage this card can cause. |
| Silent Sha-vi | And not to mention Silent Sha-vi, for me is one of the best cards of the Chaos Legion edition, I love to use it every time I can. |

The people doing V2K with remote neural monitoring want me to believe this lady @battleaxe is an operator. She is involved deeply with her group and @fyrstikken . Her discord is Battleaxe#1003.
