Mylor + Goblin Psychic? is really OP!
Hello everyone!
This time it was quite easy to make this challenge because Bronze is full of magic everywhere, Goblin Psychich is one of the cards I see the most in my battles and it's because both the card and its deck are very strong, so you have to think about the ways to counter it and take advantage of it when you use it. It is an art!
In case you don't know it...
Introducing Goblin Psychic!
Edition: CHAO LEGION.
Rarity: COMMON.
Element: EARTH.
Attack: MAGIC.
Abilities: Tank Heal at lvl 1, Afliction at lvl 4, Silence at lvl 7, Dispel at lvl 10.
An as his lore says:
This is for me the best common card of Chaos Legion, along with Depplurker, that's why they have been the ones that have been higher in prices and since we are talking about prices, its regular version is in the range of 0.3$ and its gold version in 4.2$. If there is a time to buy it, it is now, because when the edition is finished it will be much more expensive for sure.
How to use the Goblin Psychic?
Well, it's a very versatile card so its use will always be subject to your criteria, but in decks against magic it works great, but I'm going to focus on another type of alignment, using Mylor as a Summoner. The idea is to use a strong tank that repels damage, like Mycelic Infantry against Melee and Ranged or Mustang Unicorn against magic, so the opponent receives damage from the Thorns and the Goblin heals the damage received, for that you have to know how to hide it in the second line to avoid Snipe, Sneak and Opportunism attacks. In the battles below you will see this explained in a more interactive way.
It works equally well with cards like Grum, which do a lot of damage per turn and can be accompanied very well with other support cards like Queen Mycelia, Goblin Thief or Mityca Headhunter. It all depends on the situation you face in battles.
And for last, My Battle!
In this battle you can clearly see how this deck works, the thorns are doing their job every turn and the Goblin is in charge of keeping the tank in the battle with its healing. That's the main idea of this Mylor + Goblin deck, and it works very well using another tank as the situation requires and also the supports that will accompany the lineup, so don't be afraid to improvise here.
The Card | The Function |
---|---|
Mycelic Infantry | The Infantry is the tank that takes a lot of hits and does a lot of damage in battle. |
Goblin Psychic | It is in charge of keeping the tank in the battle, but its magic damage is the key to make the deck work, because it quickly kills the enemy by helping the Mycelic Infantry. |
Khmer Princess | It is another support, which helps the tank to knock down the entire enemy lineup faster and at the same time serves as protection for the Goblin, in case of having cards with Sneak or Opportunism in front of it. |

Here's another example
Here I used Royal Peryton as a tank for his Fly ability, he never activated but the Goblin's healing was enough to keep him on the field, that's the idea of using him in your lineups, while the thorns do the rest.
And here you got a last example
Here the opponent shows us how NOT to use a card like Chaos Agent, it is true that it would avoid a possible attack with Sneak but there are better ways to avoid that possible attack with a card with speed (as I did in that battle) and use the Chaos Agent in second position to throw off the attacks of Snipe.
