Scavo Firebolt in Bronze is really useful!

Hello everyone and welcome again!

As I've been playing battles I've realized how spectacular Chaos Legion cards can be, and I see them as a great opportunity to get into the game at a low cost.

Scavo Firebolt is a perfect proof of that because it is a card that doesn't take much advantage of Fire summoners (except for Zaku of course) but even so it has a lot of potential.

In today's post I'll show you why, so let's go!

In case you don't know it...

Introducing Scavo Firebolt!

Edition: CHAOS LEGION.

Rarity: RARE.

Element: FIRE.

Attack: RANGED.

Abilities:

  • KNOCK OUT at lvl 6

An as the lore says:

Living within the Realm of Silence, the mole-like race of Scavo were affected by the toxic gas from the Mountain of Ash. They became highly intelligent and worked diligently to protect their home from the blight. Scavo Firebolts were particularly changed by their proximity to the magma, developing the ability to summon and launch bolts of fire from their palms. They defend their home by launching these fire bolts from great distances. Approaching enemies don't even realize the danger until fire begins to rain from above. Those that are incapacitated are especially vulnerable.
The Scavo Firebolts peered over the lip of the crevice, staring down at the Chaos Legionnaires marching through the tunnels beneath Mount Praetorius. The mole-like creatures' goggles reflected the glow of the magma that flowed alongside the path. One of them signaled, and the others lifted their hands. Their palms blazed with fire.

Below, the Chaos Legionnaires caught sight of the glow and stopped, staring up. Too late. The Scavo Firebolts launched balls of fire at the Legionnaires, and the figures burst into flames, screaming and staggering. Several fell into the magma and were consumed. Others dropped to the ground and tried to roll around and smother the flames. Still more simply beat at their clothing and armor with their hands or paws or eldritch appendages.

The Scavo Firebolts continued to launch salvo after salvo, and the Chaos Legionnaires burned.

How to use the Scavo Firebolt?

As I said above, it is a card that does not get much direct benefit from most Fire summoners so the idea is that it is a support in your team, always in the last positions giving those extra points of damage that seems that they are not much but always help, also when he learns his ability and if you start to be a decisive card can knock down stunned enemies with one blow because it has a lot of damage. You can buy it right now for 13 cents (2.7$ if it is Gold Foil).

And for last, My Battle!

Round 1.

Tarsa is my favorite summoner of this element, because of its design and its stats of course, it doesn't help Scavo Firebolt much but it does allow you to build very offensive lineups, which is exactly what this Battle Challenge card is focused on.
Living Lava is the perfect tank to use with Tarsa, it has a lot of damage, good defensive stats and the Shield ability, unless you fight against Magic this card will hold its own in battle.
Chaos Agent is the bait set to mislead a possible enemy Opportunity.
I really like the design of this card and I love that Sneak because you can use it with any Splinter, Uraeus is a card that can not miss because it is very useful.
Tenyii Striker is here to combo with Uraeus and do a lot of damage to the enemy rear with a Double Sneak powered up thanks to Tarsa.
Scavo Firebolt in last position to support Living Lava with those two points of damage, a very offensive and underrated card just for the type of attack.

My opponent chose the quite usual Shieldbearer strategy but forgot the most important part of that strategy, which is to take care of the Shieldbearer with healing or armor repair.

Round 2.

The offensive power of his Pelacor Arbalest added to the Taunt of the Shieldbearer make this strategy very strong but as I said, my opponent neglected his tank and the offensive power of Tarsa took its maximum potential in this round.

Round 3.

image.png

The Chaos Agent plus the damage of Firebolt were very important, so much so that if one of them had been missing I would have lost this battle, in round 3 things were tied but Firebolt finished with Xenith Archer and Tenyii put an end to the battle with his powerful attack, giving me the victory.

I think this card is very necessary in a deck first because it gives you game options when you can not go full Melee with Fire and also because it is one of the current starters and not having it will cause you to lose reward capacity in the next reward system that is coming, and that added to the low price it has seems to me wonderful to buy at least 1 BCX of this card, I'm sure it will give you many surprises.
