Sometimes simple is more.

Hello everyone and welcome again!

Water cards have become quite offensive in this new meta but that does not mean that the strategy has been left aside, and is that on the other hand there are still tremendous strategies of all kinds within this element, but sometimes the simplest is the best and just in this battle challenge I come to talk about that, so let's not wait any longer and welcome.

How to use River Nymph?

This is a card that must always be used as support, in your secondary line and 100% necessary if there is the Noxius Fumes ruleset because there are no tanks with the Immunity ability in splinter Water, so using River Nymph you can eliminate the poison damage and that in a game with this ruleset is half a victory guaranteed. At higher ranks the idea is to be even more supportive with a tank that benefits from its speed buff, and if you are a splinter agua player you will know that there are many good options for that.

Sometimes it's the simple things that make the difference. My opponent has been using magic in his last battles, that leaves you open to be anticipated.

That's why I only need three cards to pull this battle off.

  • Kelya Frendull to speed up my tank and make it more durable.

  • Djinn Oshannus with Phase + Void, and with the increased speed is sure to dodge many attacks, as all of my opponent's cards are very slow.

  • River Nymph as the damage support in the secondary line, where it will be helping Oshanus to win the battle.

Queen Mycelia's armor bonus is useless in this battle, and neither is Obsidian's magic damage bonus because my tank has the Void ability, which weakens the magic damage received.

In addition, all his cards have in common the low speed and very low life.

All of that combines to end a battle in very few turns.

Again, simplicity.

5 battles in a row using Sloan is an invitation to play against him. The formula continues but one more card is added, taking advantage of mana and having a similar profile to Oshannus thanks to speed.

  • Serpent of Eld as the primary tank since Oshannus can attack in the second position, that gives me an advantage from the start since both cards have a lot of speed.

  • Oshannus as the second tank, which also does damage in any position.

  • River Nymph as the support, at the end of the team.

In round 3, 3 of his cards had already fallen while mine were still fighting. And I still had one tank left standing.

It's all about knowing when and where to play your cards. That is the basis of a victory in Splinterlands.

How was my experience with this card?

River Nymph is an excellent card, all are virtues with it and no defects, so I think it is essential to have it in your deck because it serves for any game, has damage, is very good support and in certain cases it is even essential to have it. Remember that Cleanse removes all negative effects on your cards, not just poison, so this ability has more potential than it seems. Don't stop trying this card.
