It must be said, Mycelic Infantry is one of the most forgotten cards in this edition of Chaos Legion, and it's not because it's a bad card, on the contrary. What happens is that this card has stats that do not favor the summoner of your edition and there are almost always better tanks to mix in a strategy with Obsidian. But the real appeal of this card is in the Melee attack and in combining it with strategies that are based on that. It is also an excellent card that can be used in many situations and is effective.

Its regular version is at an incredibly low price of only $0.12 in a combined phase and a single BCX costs you right now $0.13, both are prices that you can take advantage of. Bringing it to maximum level will cost you about $14.

Its gold version can be purchased right now for 2.43$ in a combined phase, and a single BCX for 2.3$. Bringing it to the maximum level will cost you about 50$.

How to use Mycelic Infantry?

This card is a pure tank, it has no other use unless the ruleset allows you to attack from another position, where you can use it as a secondary tank or even as a support, but in any other scenario there is no other way you can use this card if not as the tank of your team.

The ruleset is Noxius Fumes and I use Obsidian as my tank to give more power to my magic cards, I figured that in this case it was better this way since my other option was Wizard of Eastwood, which lowers armor and since there is poison, that debuff is not so good.

• Mycelic Infantry as my tank, as it has a high life and good shield for Melee damage, plus my card with Taunt was going to throw off the attacks.

• Hill Giant is to serve as a secondary tank if Mycelic dies, it has a very high life for its mana level and that's perfect with this ruleset.

• Mycelic Slipspawn is very good here with his Taunt, because it attracts all attacks towards him while the poison wreaks havoc.

• Psychic Goblin for its healing is an excellent companion for this team and especially for my Mycelic Infantry, because it will heal the poison damage in the early rounds.

• As my last plan, there is Xenith Monk that heals itself and thus cancels the poison damage, which makes it perfect in this ruleset too.

The first round made it clear who was going to win this battle, although the Mustang Unicorn was going to be a nuisance, it wasn't really a danger thanks to my Mycelic's Shield ability. The rest of his Magic cards had very dangerous damage but most of them had very little life and that's the deciding factor.

At this point in the game there was nothing more to say, the poison combined with my damage and the good life of my cards put the battle at a point of no return.

In this round everything was already finished thanks to the poison. A curious fact that I learned in this battle, Tank Heal when in first position becomes Heal.

How was my experience with this card?

This is a tank too underrated and deserves to have a better use than it is currently given because it is really strong, especially in high mana battles thanks to its abilities, its price is proof of that, as it is not among the cheapest cards of the edition and when you start using it you realize why that is so.
