What Land 1.0 Really Means For Splinterlands

Land is here. After almost 2 and a half years, we finally get to see what is on our plots.

I bought land in the initial sale. I bought two plots.

Now, I'm excited to see what I get.

But surveying land and seeing if I get a keep or a castle is just part of why Land 1.0 is so important to Splinterlands.

Since the launch of land, we've seen a bull run, thousands of new players and we've seen a bear market and mass layoffs. We've seen a lot of stuff.

On the other hand, there has been a lot of stuff built too. SPS, Chaos Legion, Power Change, Nodes, Runi, SoulKeep and non-card market all launched since the sale of land.

Land 1.0 means that Splinterlands delivers on its plans and is establishing more and more credibility in an industry where credibility is more scarce than mythics.

The team a Splinterlands has proven that despite what is happening in the broader markets, they continue to push forward.

That makes it easier for me to want to invest time and money into the game. Out of all of the NFT projects I was involved with for the last two years, Splinterlands is getting most of my attention.

I'm excited for land, and the community feels energized. This is a good time to be a citizen of Praetoria.
