Hello everyone, as you saw in the title of this post I will show you a quick and effective way to go from silver 3 to gold 3 spending only $0.60 renting cards, I hope it can help those who are just starting in splinterlands and also those who already play it's been a while but still can't climb the league and if possible read to the end because I'll be giving you several tips about the game and I'll try to give as much detail as possible so you don't have any doubts about what to do.

First of all the main focus of this post is to move up the league quickly and effectively and not as a profit but I will give tips on how to do that as I type.

I said the amount spent in dollars because that's what I spent in the current conversion from dec to dollar at this exact moment but this can vary depending on when you're reading this post, the amount in dec spent was 181.

Now let's talk about which cards you should rent in order to move up in the league, but I won't go into detail about what each card does because if it wouldn't stay long then I'll explain in battles later.

imag20.png

These are all the cards you will need to have and you may be asking if it is really possible to rent so many cards of this level for such a low price and the answer to that is yes and I will show you.

imag 3.png

imag 4.png

These 2 images represent all the life deck cards you need and it cost around 46 dec.

imag 6.png

This image represents the dragon deck and cost around 23 dec.

imag 7.png

imag 8.png

These 2 images represent the water deck and cost around 78 dec.

imag 9.png

imag10.png

These 2 images represent the neutral deck and also 2 water deck cards that are the Djinn Oshannus and the Torrent Fiend and in total it cost around 34 dec.

The total value is around 181 dec.

Now that I've shown the amount spent on the cards I used to go from silver 3 to gold 3 you may be wondering that with these cards you don't have the power needed for gold 3 which is 100,000 power, the $0.60 spent is just for the cards that you will use to increase your score until you reach the gold score 3, the necessary power will need to spend a little more, but it is a very low value, only a few cents.

In case you want to know how to get power cheaply and quickly I made a post about it and I'll leave the link below but I'll give a brief summary about it to save you time.

LINK

imag 21.png

As you can see in the image above, to get the power needed for gold 3 renting cards is not that expensive, as you have already rented a lot of cards and their total power is around 30,000 you would just need to rent the Naga Windmaster which costs 40 dec and give 69,300 power so we added another 5 dec to complete the 100,000 power and you would already have the power needed for gold 3.

Generally for leagues like gold and above, an effective and quick way to get the necessary power is to go to peakmonster and mark max level and gold cards.

Now let's get to the main part of this post, which is how you will be able to raise using these cards.

imag11.png

As you can see in the image above my score is 1027 in silver 3

And I'll use the end-of-season clock to calculate how much time it took me to move up in the league.

imag 2.png

This image showing my capture rate is to show how much I spent on it to increase my score by 909.

Let's go to some examples of battles for you to understand how to use the cards.

imag 22.png

BATTLE

For the life deck this is a very simple and easy to understand example, this is a powerful combination for low mana cost battles and if you use it on silver you will win many battles like this.

They are all low mana cost that have very strong abilities and status, the summoner Tyrus Paladium with the Defender of Truth card gives 3 shield together and this will hold many attacks, in front we have Pelacor Conjurer and Celestial Harpy that have the fly ability and they will dodge many attacks in addition to that, Pelacor Conjurer has the Magic Reflect skill that helps a lot, Time Mage has the Slow skill that reduces the speed of enemies which is very useful and we have Peacebringer and Stitch Leech as the cards that give the most damage.

I consider this combo to be very strong because it has a mix of melee, ranged and magic attack as well as a strong defense, being honest you could play with them even on gold and do well.

I'll leave some more examples of battles with the life deck below so you can have a better idea of how to use it (but you can use it the way you think is best, they are just examples and each battle is different).

BATTLE

For the water deck there are many variations so it will depend on the battle rules and mana cost, for a low mana cost I recommend using the following cards. Spinerback Turtle in front because of the thorn skill in the second position the Pelacor Bandid because of the fly skill in third position Saber Shark, in fourth position Medusa (her stun helps a lot), fifth in Venari Wavesmith and the protect skill it gives shield for the whole team will be the most useful in every match and lastly Mischievous Mermaid, her dodge ability will help a lot when you have enemy cards that attack the back line.

I won't be able to show many battles with the water deck because there is a limit of matches you can see in the history and I ended up saving the links for them only after getting gold 3 so I can't see them all.

But for games with a higher mana cost you put Sea Monster in first position, Djinn Oshannus and Nerisa Trindawn in second and third position, Magi Sphinx in fourth, Venari Wavesmith in fifth and Mischievous Mermaid last.

There are also other cards with a very low mana cost that can be used depending on the game rules and mana cost but that's your choice, as I said before each game is different.

Now I'm going to show you some battles with the water deck.

BATTLE

In the top game I used Sniping Narwhal instead of Mischievous Mermaid because I was trying to do the daily quest.

BATTLE

Now I will give examples with the dragon deck.

imag 30.png

BATTLE

With the dragon deck, just put the Djinn Chwala in the first position as he has a lot of health and shield in addition to the thorn skill to do extra damage to enemy melee attacks and the Fire Spitter in the last position to dodge some attacks with the fly skill and in battles with low mana cost you put the manticore in second position since its cost is low.

In the neutral deck, you just use Rusty android in the first position and Prismatic Energy in the second position when the enemy usually uses a lot of magic cards, both have the magic reflect ability and are of great help in battles like this. The other neutral cards you use depending on the battles as they have low mana cost.

I think with these explanations you should already have an idea of the use of each card but if you have any questions about it you can leave it in the comments and I will answer.

imag 14.png

The image above shows when I got to silver 2 and if you look at the end of season clock you will see that it took 14 minutes and 1 second. (just compare with the photo of the clock at the beginning).

imag 17.png

Here I arrived at silver 1 and it took 27 minutes and 9 seconds from silver 3

imag 18.png

Here I finally got to gold 3 and it took 32 minutes and 41 seconds from silver 3.

imag 19.png

And here it shows how much capture rate I still have left, I only had to spend 30% and even if I haven't recovered what I spent yet this is not a problem because I can still play a lot more and still have the daily quest chests, but if I had I played from the beginning on gold 3 or even silver 1 I would have recovered by now.

Another important tip I can give you is that these combinations are very strong in the silver league so if you don't want to go up to the gold league you can use them in silver 1 and win a lot. But I recommend that if your focus is to gain dec then the ideal would be to rent only one or two of the decks (the life deck and the dragon deck give good results and are cheap).

I hope I have helped you to climb to the gold league and as you can see it doesn't take much effort or spend a lot, soon I'll make publications on how to climb from gold to diamond and also how to have a good income in these leagues by renting cheaps cards, until next time.

Wow! you really moved up levels quickly. Thanks for the detail information of what to rent. I am still struggling to get out of bronze.

I'll do a tutorial on this in the next season, but a tip I can give you is that cards with magic damage have ease in the bronze league.

Try using the water deck with the summoner Alric Stormbringer (you will need to rent him) or using the earth deck with the summoner Obsidian always focusing on magic cards, but the water deck does better in this league.
