Splinterlands - Share your battle (Ant Miner)

Howdy folks,

here is my very first weekly battle share staring Ant Miner. By inspecting my opponent before the battle, I saw that he used Alric in all of his previous 5 battles. So my logic was to get rid of his magic with snipers and opportunists. The mana cap was at 15 and the aim true modification was in effect, so I opted for light (and low mana cost) infantry, without a tank.

I choose Malric over Pyre to gain those extra heavy blows in preference of speed. I assigned the Ant Miner to 5th place, so that by the time my enemy would get there, the scavanger ability would make my Ant into a tank. As you can see my opponent indeed choose Alric and my tactics worked nicely. Moreover since he only used one heavy hitter he could not get far and the Ant Miner did not get the chance to shine this battle. He was just scavaging in the back and will be hungry for blood in the next battles.

I like the Ant Miners because it is a low mana card, which used towards the back lines can turn into a tank.
