Big luck in Chaos Legion pack, and that function that nobody uses in Peakmonsters?

Hello damn Splinterlands players,

First, I'm not playing as much as I used to play Splinterlands ranked games due to recent changes that made the rental market grow disproportionately to the value gained in return, famous "pay-to-play", remembering here that I don't blame the game's developers. but the players themselves whales that feed this chaotic market, at this time it pays more to acquire some cards of the new edition since the price is still acceptable and probably tends to fall with the high amount of packages to be sold.

My focus remains on collecting merits for my Brawl Guild collection, besides that I already have 3,500 Merits to open from Gladius, but I would like to report this in my guild battle post, so this text doesn't become something boring and immense (I don't know why people create texts larger than 1000 and it's exactly the summary that we're interested in and get straight to the point).

As I reported in my previous post Splintertalk, Expensive rent in Splinterlands and possible purchase of Chaos Legion cards I'm looking to buy all the cards in this edition so I don't have to rent to the new modern system, other than that it would give me great collection power, I still hope that one day I can keep myself from gold with just my cards, and as Splinterlands is a long-term investment game I believe it will work. So before that I decided to purchase 5 packs with DEC in my inventory, and to my immediate surprise I received this great beauty for my collection at River Hellondale

The other packs weren't as special as the first one, but I received some that I find interesting like Tenyll Striker, Goblin Psychic, Kelya Frendul, Merdaali Guardian and all the Gold Foils, besides that I'm already testing the others in battle, although I had this first-time luck I don't see a use for it at the moment, maybe it's designed for battles further than I can reach so far.

As I bought the packages with DEC for 4,000 (A discount from other means of payment since it is not 4$ dollars in DEC but the quantity at the current price) my profit was as follows:

I decided that I would sell this card and acquire part of my Chaos Legion collection, with this price I can buy all the common and rare cards in their normal version. For those interested, the minimum price is mine costing $49 dollars (5% platform fee), in addition, it is good for those who need CP (Collection Power) as it will grant you 12,500 points

🔖 Buy Sets: Why are there ridiculous prices if nobody wants that crap?

Well before I started actually buying and renting through Peakdmonster I scoured the site to see if I could find anything other than a Splinterlands main market interface system created by @peak-monsters (who would have thought that today is more used than the game's website, besides having its own PKM token on Hive-Engine) and before buying cards I took a look at this tool Buy Sets it immediately seemed like a cool idea: to assemble a composition and sell to other players, as a "starter package" for you to win your first leagues, however not even the system would think it would be used by idiots wanting to sell copper with gold price, it's each sale so bizarre that it even looks like it's some kind of a joke, it's not possible for someone to actually have that value in a set of cards like that.

Although it has these Worm cards and an Onyx there is no reason for this price for 32 Gargoyas Lion, and the site still warns the market value based on the price of that monster's last card acquired so that 136% over price is a big warning, I remember a NFT game streamer who had joined Splinterlands bought cards through this system, it wasn't a miss like that but he did buy some cards in this pack for twice the price. Remembering that I'm not including non-delusional people with these prices, there's even a Get Silver Easy package available with great cards for this league, in addition to being affordable and below what you would spend buying one by one.
