At the moment I will still stay in bronze although I get the necessary Power until Gold III, the rentals of good cards to stay in these leagues are pretty high, (Combo Ylhama goes over 150 DEC daily) I'm still testing the rewards and next season I will go for at least silver I or something.

nice! Yea the rewards scale nicely but you are right renting costs is a big downside. After a couple days into the season once the better players latter up, I find I don't need to rent the top tier or rarest cards. I posted an obsidian build that does nicely for getting out of bronze but obsian rentals are running a high right now as well :/
