Coffee Spill On My White

Hello Coffee lovers, It’s my first time here.

I saw the Spillthebeans topic and I found it an interesting topic to talk about. I think almost everyone has encountered a coffee spilled before. Most times it comes off as being frustrating and the most unpleasant to have happened especially when you are having a bad day and sometimes it just happens and then you clean up and go about your day.

If there is one thing I notice most time in movies is how people tend to spill their coffee when they are in a haste to be somewhere or they are late for work and just hurriedly want to grab a cup of coffee. I think these moves mostly lead to them having a bad day or a sign that they would have a bad day.

I have encountered several coffee spills and yes, I have had the worst coffee spills and it was frustrating. This takes me down to when I went for holidays at my aunt’s house. I decided to travel down there when my school went on vacation. I wanted to go away from my usual space.

Over there it was very interesting as my cousins are the outing type and very extroverted unlike me who is mostly an introvert. We decided to go out that particular day and honestly, I was dragged out. I didn’t come in many clothes so I decided to wear my white trouser with a white inner shirt and a jacket on it as it was cold during that period.

We went over to the cafe as it was just newly opened and they wanted to try it out. I ordered for coffee and so did everyone. I wanted something hot since the weather was cold. We tried to adapt to the environment and look at the place. They did a great job with both the interior and exterior.

We were going to take pictures but then we decided to take pictures when we were about to leave. The coffee was superb and since I felt cold inside, I enjoyed how it made me feel. Well, that feeling didn’t last long as I had no idea I was about to encounter the worst coffee spill of my life.

A few minutes later, we wanted to place an order for some snacks, I was about to hand over my card to my cousin to pay when I hit the rest of my cup of coffee and it spilled on me. I was so embarrassed and I kept looking around as all eyes were on me. The mess the coffee made to my clothes was so much because it was white clothes.

We couldn’t stay for long so we picked up the snacks and left immediately, apart from the fact that the coffee ruined my clothes I was also sad that the outing was cut short as a result of my coffee spill. We couldn’t even take any pictures as a result of the spill as I didn’t want to stay outside for long after it happened.

That was my worst coffee spill. I hope no one experiences such an embarrassing coffee spill.
