Over 3M $WOO spent within 24 hours of land upgrade release!
Yesterday, @wrestorgonline released Land Upgrades to the public. With it, a working version of a new site User Interface.
This is the first of many in-game use cases for the $WOO token. Upgrading Land NFTs improves their ability to generate $WOO tokens from matches, attract shows to your Land, roll for special “freelance” wrestler NFTs, and much more.
Within 24 hours, over 3M worth of upgrades were initiated by those who have wisely gotten a jump on this game feature. In total, this has spent over 3M $WOO tokens (0.1% of our total supply of three billion). As some of you have noticed, after a certain level of upgrades the waiting timer starts to stack up. So we expect the $WOO spending to continue quite steadily as the more expensive upgrades get unlocked over the week.
The upgrade user interface is not final
It works, but it is far from perfect. Our goal was to get the functionality out there and introduce a major $WOO sink in advance of the full game launch. We want a solid choice of venues ready for matches once the full game comes out.
As we work through the major Las Vegas conference next week, game launch, bug smushing, final testing, etc.—expect Quality of Life and UI improvement to appear in this and other parts of the UI (including for a totally new and more comprehensive marketplace!)
