WOO Unofficial Season 1: The Prelims

As we await the ability to claim your $WOO rewards through gameplay and our first official Season, we decided to officially hold an unofficial Season 1 Prelims. We will have a prize pool consisting of 500 $HIVE tokens! This season will last from the moment this post goes live and will last until 11:59 pm Eastern time May 31st.

Distribution Strategy

The token distribution will be weighted according to player rankings on the leaderboard. So, get as many wins as possible to continue to climb the leaderboard, but watch out as NFTs can become injured and will heal over time, but will not be able to be used while healing!

How exactly will we be distributing the 500 $HIVE tokens? We will use a formula that ensures players higher up the leaderboard receive more tokens, with the distribution steeply favoring the top ranks. We believe that this method encourages all players to aim for the highest rank possible, but don't forget that your wrestlers will become fatigued and could become injured the more matches you play with each card! You have been warned!

Dynamic Adjustments

The actual number of participants may change, but the formula will dynamically adjust to distribute all 500 tokens fairly, based on the final leaderboard standings. We will also be making daily posts on our @woo-events account showing the leaderboards, and we will also be hosting special quests in the Discord located at https://discord.gg/woogame. During these special "quests" we will be giving away extra WOO-related items including Packs, NFTs, WOO Tokens, and even real-life signed merchandise!

This distribution system is designed to be transparent, fair, and motivating. It rewards excellence and perseverance in WOO, encouraging all players to perform their best and play as often as possible. We look forward to seeing the intense competition and high-level gameplay this will foster, as well as stress test our systems as we continue to improve gameplay!
