Three days ago KAIN HACE the second of the six special airdrop characters from Riftwatchers sale was unleashed. The new monster unlike first character is a Riftwatchers legendary belonging to death splinter.
Although I am not that much impressed with the stats but the visual graphics are way cooler.

Lets have a look at KAIN HACE's stats and do a short review:

So KAIN have a decent magic attack of 3 right from level 1 along with Blast and Reflection Shield abilities. The Magic attack keeps on building up, reaching a maximum of 5 at maxed level.
It possesses no shield what so ever. The health is 2 at level-1 and remains same throughout all levels. The Speed is also like health; it starts with a low speed of 2 which remains unchanged till the end.

Although physical stats are not that much impressive, but abilities does make KAIN a bit more acceptable. It have Blast and Reflection Shield abilities right from the start. At level 3 Redemptions gets added up.

Pros

The biggest pro of KAIN is its Reflection Shield ability, making life of death splinter formations much easier against Blast based attacks especially from Zaku much easier.
The magic attack of 5 along with blast is also another big plus of KAIN, especially since it cant suffer from Magic Reflect due to Reflection Shield ability.
The low speed of just 2 makes KAIN a perfect magic attack monster in Reverse speed ruleset.

Cons

The biggest con of KAIN is its low speed. Apart from Reverse speed ruleset its High Magic attack is pretty much useless if enemy resorts to Phase ability tanks.
Low Health of KAIN is its yet another big disadvantage. Although it is well protected from Blast and Magic Reflect damages due to Reflection ability, but still it is very much vulnerable to Weaken and Redemption abilities. Also low health means it wont survive much longer in Noxious Fumes and Earthquake rulesets. Without any Camouflage it is also an easy prey for Opportunity, Snipe and Random Strike monsters.
KAIN is not the first death splinter Monster with Refection Shield ability; other one being REVEALER; an epic reward monster. So, why would anyone wanna use high mana KAIN for its Refection Shield ability only if there is a much more mana efficient option in the form of REVEALER is on table.

Price

Like all Riftwatcher legendaries, KAIN is costly. Currently the minimum price per bcx is $18.28, which is still way more than much better RUNEMANCER FLORRE. The high price is may be due to low circulation in comparison to other Riftwatchers legendries. So, its price should settle down in coming days once circulation and fomo balances out.

Closing Thoughts

KAIN HACE is a decent legendary but to be honest it is not a game changer. It does have its utility in Reverse Speed ruleset but apart from that it is some what replaceable with REVEALER.
