MAGI NECROSI...The Hidden Assassin

For this weeks battle challenge, we got another awesome chaos epic monster, MAGI NECROSI. MAGI NECROSI is an epic death splinter magic attack monster.

Here is MAGI NECROSI's amazing lore:

Four hundred years before the first rift opened, the first whispers of chaos brought dark beasts under a blood moon to the Tower of Azdurj. Creatures of nightmare began hunting by night, lurking the valleys and crawling on the wind.

In desperation, the acolytes of Azdurj sought forbidden tomes, long sealed beneath their tower. By the candlelight of hidden recesses within their tower's crypt, the first Necrosi were born. Forged to battle the spawn of Chaos, these bounty hunters are eager to take up the fight.

Physical attributes of MAGI NECROSI does justify its mana cost of 6. It have nominal magic attack of 2 at level 1 which reaches 3 at maxed level. But the real value of MAGI NECROSI lies in its abilities. Its have Snipe and Camouflage ability right from level 1. At level 4 Oppress ability comes in and Stun at maxed level. To me the real value lies in Camouflage ability allowing it to continue attacking undisturbed.

Needless to say abilities make MAGI NECROSI a worthy epic monster.

Cost Analysis

Currently there are 34,658 normal foil and 2,255 gold foil MAGI NECROSIs in circulation, costing a minimum of 1.06$/BCX and 9.00$/BCX respectively.

Lately its price is on the rise as Chaos muensters are getting closer to their print limit.

Favored/Unfavored Battle Rules

MAGI NECROSI works well is almost all kind of battle rule sets especially when Magic Reflect chances are low. Still, it works best in Wands Out, Keep Your Distance, Equalizer, Even Steven, Lost Legendries and Equal Opportunities rulesets.

Vulnerability and Disadvantage

MAGI NECROSI vulnerability is that it is susceptible to Magic Reflect and Blast damages.

Placement

MAGI NECROSI is best suited in last ranks away from any sort of damage thanks to Camouflage.

Complementing Summoners and Abilities

MAGI NECROSI can be complemented decently by summoners like MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE, DELWYN DRAGONSCALE and WAKA SPIRITBLADE.

It can be complemented decently by abilities like Protect, Strengthen, Triage, Resurrect, Swiftness and Slow.

Defense

Best defend against MAGI NECROSI is killing it using either Magic Reflect powered by Amplify or by Blast damage.

MY BATTLE USING MAGI NECROSI

This was a 21 mana battle with three battle rules; Stampede, Equal Opportunity and Broken Arrows. Only Death splinter was allowed.

MY LINEUP

OWSTER ROTWELL

Since Broken Arrows ruleset was in effect, so I used OWSTER ROTWELL summoner. OWSTER ROTWELL's magic reflect can come in pretty handy.

GELATINOUS CUBE

Up front I used neutral reward common GELATINOUS CUBE as tank. GELATINOUS CUBE's Scavenger and Heal ability makes it pretty much invincible in latter stages of battle.

FURIOUS CHICKEN

On one down I used zero mana monster, FURIOUS CHICKEN. FURIOUS CHICKEN's sole purpose was to die from Opportunity attack and feed GELATINOUS CUBE.

CORPSE FIEND

On third position, I placed another zero mana monster CORPSE FIEND. Again the sole purpose was to die from Opportunity attack and feed GELATINOUS CUBE.

VENATOR KINJO

Next comes yet another legendry, VENATOR KINJO. VENATOR KINJO Reflection Shield and Camouflage abilities makes it perfect for Equal Opportunity ruleset. It is going to protect my latter monsters in line from any possible blast damage.

INSIDIOUS WARLOCK

On the second last position, I used star of the show, INSIDIOUS WARLOCK. Like discussed INSIDIOUS WARLOCK is well hidden due to its Camouflage and well protected by VENATOR KINJO.

DOCTOR BLIGHT

On the last position, I used my favorite legendary, DOCTOR BLIGHT. DOCTOR BLIGHT's Affliction, Camouflage, Scavenger and Poison abilities makes it a real asset in all kind of rulesets. Again in this ruleset Camouflage of DOCTOR BLIGHT is of real value.

BATTLE ANALYSIS

The battle went as planned. OWSTER ROTWELL magic reflect proved quite potent against enemy magic attack monsters. My Camouflage monsters kept attacking the enemy whereas Gelatinous Cube kept absorbing the enemy assault. INSIDIOUS WARLOCK kept attacking the enemy well hidden and shielded.
