This battle features how to tackle Kelya Frendul in a "Back to basics" ruleset!

Ancient Lich is an Untamed reward card that has huge potential in matches with especially snipe and blast due to the life leach ability that it posses.

In this match against Keyla Frendul and the strong cards Chain Golem and Halfing Alchemist it almost looked like a dire fight. But by choosing heavy hitting magic monsters the fight merely turned in my favour!

My reasoning for picking this team

In my first position I picked Harklaw!
-A suitable option even though no abilities were available, due to fairly high HP and some shield!

In the secound position I choose Magi Necrosi, normally a strong camouflaged magic sniper, but this time around just a heavy hitting magic monster with a fair amount of HP, the reason for this monster to be in the secound position is because it can still hit when in first position and can tank a little bit due to having 5 HP and 4 speed for possible evasions.

For the third position, the key player came into play, it is arguable that Magi Necrosi was the MVP, due to making space for the other monsters to do the job, but nonetheless, Ancient Lich was the monster who finished most key enemies!

Then for the fourth posistion, Xenith Archer, accuactly just a filler to make space for the last card on the team, but it did it's job!

For the fifth and last position on the team comes Soul Strangler!
Also a big key to winning due it's potential to due high damage outputs with 3/turn (if not for Divine Shielda and the armor atleast 😄)

Here is a picture preview of the battle to come!

Would you think I was victories from this standpoint?

Who do you think the MVP was for this fight?

  • Was it the Magi Necrosi for it's swift stalling + the crucial evade in round 3?
  • Was it the Ancient Lich for finising off alot of enemies
  • or lastly the Soul Strangler for finishing the job and clutching out the win in the end?
