I finish this season in Splinterlands, then I will stop playing it again (2023.10.22)
Honestly currently almost any other video game is better than Splinterlands to have actual fun. There is no encouragement in Splinterlands. And there is no sense of progress in it either. There is even punishment (reduced rewards) in it for using basic cards. My peace is much more important than the few cents I earn with this game. If I even earn anything with it at all.
Probably I will earn one season chest in this season. I am very close to it. I earned 303/390 season points so far. Today I have not even tried the daily focus. It is not worth it. I run out of energy before I would even partially earn a focus chest.
So I finish the current season in Splinterlands, but other than that, I decide not to waste my time with this game. It is really not enjoyable, but frustratingly too hard. I always fell back to around 100 in rating. I played 145 battles in this season so far. I won 52 battles. My current win rate is only 35.86%. My current rank is 49 709, so I am still in the top 50 000 Bronze Splinterlands players.
If you still really enjoy Splinterlands, then good luck and have fun. I really cannot enjoy it with this frustratingly hard difficulty. Of course I will keep checking Splinterlands from time to time in the future to see if it enjoyable again, as it was in the past (mostly in 2019).
