I reached the Silver III League (without renting a card), and I am near the top 5000 players (2022.06.02)
And currently we are just at the beginning of the season. Probably this is my personal record for the quickly reaching the Silver III League. A little bit more than 13 days are left from the current season.
Today I played Splinterlands for more than one hour so far, and I have two pending season chests, and two pending focus chests. I am very excited about the new reward system, and about these chests. Some people say that the new reward system is better, and some people say that the new reward system is worse. Maybe it is a little bit early to judge. We are in the beginning of a new season with the new reward system. We will know more about in the end of the current season.
I played 41 battles in the current season so far, and I won 29 battles, so my current win rate is 70.73%. Probably this is one of my highest win rates so far. Currently I am near the top 5000 players. My current rank is 5466. This is probably also a personal record.
I see that the Legendary Djinn Oshannus card is helping me a lot in the battles. This is an amazing card in the Bronze Leagues, and in the Silver III League too. By the way, I am dare to use it even in low mana battles, for example in 12 mana battles, and I often win with him.
I am very satisfied and very excited about the start of the new season. Probably I am going to rent a few cards to unlock and reach the Silver II League.

Probably this is too early to say, but I like the new format. Based on the first look, I think that it will reward regular Splinterlands players better than the old reward system.
My current ECR is 73.73%. Probably this is also too early to say, but maybe it is better to play for chests. I need to see the contents of a few chests to make an opinion about this. Hopefully there will be more reward cards in them than in the previous reward system in the recent past.

That's absolutely true it will surely reward the players that the bots. For me I have to balance between the ECR as well as the Chest Rewards I want.

If you can get to silver, then it means that the chests should be a lot easier. Each league you go up makes a huge difference in the chests you get.

I am currently in the Silver III League. Probably I would be in the Silver II League, but currently that is locked for me. My current rating is 1322. I currently have five season chests, and four focus chests. The focus will end in 17 minutes. Soon I will see the first rewards in the new reward system. I already see that I earn more chests with the new reward system than with the old reward system. I also put more time in it than for the daily quests in the previous reward system. Hopefully there will be proper rewards in these chests. I am very excited about this.

Yes Djinn Oshannus is an awesome card! I was stuck in Bronze for months until someone suggested me to use him. Thereafter I could even get to Gold sometimes with him. It's still my favourite card till now.
Me too. But no one suggested to me to use him. I randomly received it as a reward card, and I am very happy for it.
That is very interesting. A lot of CP (Collection Power) is required for the Gold leagues. Currently my max tier is Silver III.
It is probably one of the best water cards.
