It was well worth it! - Splinterlands season end rewards in the Silver III League (2022.05.31)

I am very happy to say that it was well worth it to rent a level 3 Valnamor, and fight my way to the Silver III League.

I received two new cards in the season end rewards, but most importantly I received a Legendary monster, Djinn Oshannus.

Out of the 12 reward chests, only four chests were bullshit (alchemy and legendary potion charges). and the Djinn Oshannus Legendary card is really awesome. It is both useful in the game, and valuable too. Currently it is worth $2.57 USD. Of course I am not going to sell this card. At least not in the near future. I am going to play with this card. Probably it will help me to reach the Silver III League again.

The new cards for me are the Blood Maker and the Vampire Bat. The rest of the cards are well known cards. Gargoya Lion, Pelacor Bandit, and a Pelacor Deceiver.

All in all, I am very happy about these season end rewards. Hopefully the next season end rewards will also be similarly good. I start the new season in the Bronze II League.

Finally I received real rewards again (after a long time). And very good rewards. At least the Legendary Djinn Oshannus card. It is amazing. I am very well motivated and inspired to keep playing Splinterlands, and I will invest both time and money into Splinterlands to reach the Silver III League again.

By the way, this season points thing is a new thing in Splinterlands. Currently there are no pending reward chests. We have to earn season points to earn season chests. I am very excited about the upcoming changes (hopefully improvements) in Splinterlands, including the changes in the reward system. Probably this is a part of it.

We have 14 days (almost 15 days) until the end of the current season. I am not going to rush and jump into the things immediately, but I will rent at least one card in this season too. Maybe more cards. We will see.

I will also do a few Splinterlands card giveaways in the near future.

Nice pulls. Djinn Oshanus is one of my best guys out here, combine him with Venari bonesmith that gives shield and you have a lethal team.

This is exactly what I did in my first Djinn Oshannus battle. It was indeed a very good team. I used Merdaali Guardian too for healing.

This battle is also my first battle in the current season.

Absolutely amazing cards bro, specially Djinn a legendary grab from the chest. It is a high mana card but you can use it in 30-99 mana battles.

From this season there is a point system, how will players get their daily chest rewards?

I am brave (or crazy), and I use it in even less mana battles. This was my first battle with Djinn Oshannus, and also my first battle in the current season. It was a 23 mana battle.

From this season there is a point system, how will players get their daily chest rewards?

This is new to me too. I have not completed the daily quest so far, and I have not read anything (other than what they game write about it so far, so I currently do not know.

This is indeed a very impressive battle, you quickly toppled your opponent with Djinn team.

It requires a nice summoner to boost, but game matches a very fierce opponent at bronze level hard to level up without renting.

I know. Nowadays usually in the Bronze leagues. This is why I rented a Level 3 Valnamor near the end of the previous season. To reach the Silver III League.

Splinterlands is a very good game. I started playing it on 2018.12.30 by buying the Beta starter set for $10 USD worth of Steem. Splinterlands was Steem Monsters at that time.

As I know, nowadays there is a spellbook, and it also cost $10 USD. The game will give this value back to you over time, and you will earn profit too with the game.

Congratulations on the legendary card but we still need to see if things will change with the new rewards season. I think it might take a few seasons to see if it has any impact.

If there is an already applied (actual) change in the reward (distribution) system, then probably we will see it in the end of the current season. Maybe (hopefully) even in the daily quest rewards. I will try to reach the Silver III League again, but of course I also hope that players in the Bronze leagues will also receive proper rewards.

I tried it and I don't like the new rewards system at all. It seems like we are getting far fewer chests and we have to put in way more work.

So Splinterlands is becoming even worse, instead of becoming good again, as it was in the previous years (mostly in 2019)? This is not good. But I would not be judge so quickly. I wait at least for the season end rewards. Maybe (hopefully) we will receive proper rewards in those fewer chests, instead of receiving multiple alchemy and legendary potion charges.

If the rewards will actually be less, then the developers are slowly killing this game. Many people will stop playing Splinterlands. Hopefully this will not be the case.
