My own Splinterlands card collection is currently worth only $259.54 USD (2022.02.12)

Today I discovered something a little bit sad by using the filters on PeakMonsters. There is a filter called "Owned". I checked the "Yes", and I discovered that my total owned Splinterlands card collection is currently worth only $259.54 USD. The rest ($449.06 USD) is delegated to me by various Splinterlands players.

I wrote "a little bit sad", because a few days ago I was happy that I own a $700 USD card collection, while the reality is the fact that most of these cards are delegated to me, so I do not own them.

I still own a card collection worth a little bit more than my monthly pension-like income for my multiple disabilities, which is approximately $250 USD per month.

So this is not that bad.

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

Did you win all of the cards through play or did you buy cards or packs? I think it's a nice size collection. Do you play the cards or rent them?

I won most of these, and I also bought some. Even a Chaos Legion card pack in the pre-sale. Nowadays I do not play Splinterlands. I took a break from playing Splinterlands on 2022.02.06. Nowadays I lease out a part of my card collection, which gives around 16.868 DEC per day (12.66% yearly ROA) (return on assets).

Hivebits blends Hive's chain and Bitcoin's ethos. Mine HBIT simply with ! hivebits (no space), one-per-day. Success! You just mined .9 HBIT and the user you replied to received .1 HBIT on your behalf. You can receive 100% of the HBIT by replying to one of your own posts or comments. Or, support Hivebits by using the official HBIT mine | your wallet | market | tools | connect | <><

Sorry that you experienced some disappointments my friend. For blockchain games, I would suggest that people only play games that they really enjoy playing for fun, and make the money making element secondary. This is because crypto games are extremely speculative and very high risk, 99% of them will fail in the long term (though I hear that Splinterlands is among the TOP crypto games in the entire market), so just be prepared for that possibility. Not as high risk as art NFTS of course, but it is still one of the highest risk categories in the cryptocurrency market. But hopefully you are having a fun time playing the game! Wishing you and the project the best success though, cheers.

Recently I found the Arc8 platform. But other than most of the games on that, I currently do not know any fun blockchain game.

Splinterlands used to be fun in the past, but it became frustrating nowadays.

Hopefully Splinterlands will not fail. Nowadays I do not play it (I took a break from it on 2022.02.06), but I have other Splinterlands assets too, not just/only the cards. Currently I have 925.469305 SPT (+4200 SPT delegated), and 466.98 SPS (all staked), and 4454.545 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC).

Splinterlands is fortunately/luckily more than a game. It is a community too.

Wishing you and the project the best success though, cheers.

I wish the same. Both to the project, to you, and to everyone else.

Sorry to hear that it has become frustrating, I hope the appeal can return to it soon. But yes, most crypto games focus on the income features first and the fun second. Hopefully that will change eventually over time!

But yes the community element is half the fun, and very important! Thank you for the PIZZA and I hope it is a beautiful day there in Hungary, cheers.

If it's an encouragement, your collection of cards is much better/bigger than mine! Have fun in whatever you are playing! :)
