Nearly worthless season end rewards again (2021.12.31)
I thought that the game will give a few valuable cards for the end of the year, but no.
From the player aspect, this game is becoming more and more demotivating, to be honest. Out of 9 reward chests, just/only three contained cards, and all the three cards are common cards. The Venari Heathsmith card is both useless and nearly worthless ($0.05 USD). The Pelacor Mercenary is at least useful in battles, but also close to worthless ($0.06 USD). I received the latter card twice.
So the season end rewards are bad again, just like the previous seson end rewards. Yes. Nowadays both the daily quest rewards and also the season end rewards are bad.
The game is still fun to play, but in most cases it does not really motivate the players to complete the daily quests.
There are good exceptions. For example yesterday I received an Uraeus card. That card is currently worth $1.13 USD. But receiving cards like this is very rare. The game is giving mostly alchemy and legendary potion charges for completing the daily quests. And those potions are worthless.
Of course I keep playing, and I also keep my Splinterlands card collection. At least until the end of the SPS airdrop. Probably the best way is to keep playing without expecting rewards. So play for fun.

No doubt the game get tougher, the rewards as well but keep the hope and try getting into silver league for better rewards. It might take time but keep building your deck, those cards when leveled up a year from now will be worth collecting them, the portions I use to think are worthless but very valuable to open packs, some buy portions to open packs...

I was in the Silver III League a few times. That is also my current max tier. Nowadays it is not easy to get into the Silver III League, but I try to play well, and hopefully I can finish this season in Silver III.

It's all luck and I didn't really get anything noteworthy from my pulls either. No gold foil, epic or legendary cards at all. Just keep up the grind and it will pay off in the end. It does add up over time.

I keep grinding. I try to reach Silver III this season. Currently this is my max tier. I reached it a few times before. Hopefully there will be some valuable cards amongst the current season end rewards.
