Rearrangement of funds? (2022.10.04)

(Edited)

The income from the automatic Splinterlands cards leasing became so low (19% yearly ROA) in the previous three days that I am thinking about selling my Splinterlands cards (worth around $173.28 USD), and putting the funds into Hive Dollar (HBD) savings to have a fixed 20% APR interest rate.

What do you suggest? What would you do? Keep the Splinterlands cards, or sell them?

I know that the playing is not worth it from the financial aspect since I do not even know how many months, but it looks like that even the card leasing is not worth it anymore. Especially after the daily 10% cut from Splex.GG.

Currently I have 10 991 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC), which currently worth $7.18 USD. I am not sure about the Splinterlands cards, but probably I will sell this, and probably I will put it into Hive Dollar (HBD) savings. There was a time, when I thought about reinvesting this into Splinterlands cards, but putting it into Hive Dollar (HBD) savings is probably better.

By the way, I currently have $0.77 USD in the SWAP.HIVE:SPS liquidity pool. This currently have 76.86% APR interest rate, but it has a higher risk than the HBD savings. I am still planning to slowly increase the funds in this liquidity position, but I do not want to risk a bigger amount of money.

I would like to have most of my investments in low risk, but stable investments, which are rather predictable.

I currently have $114.28 HBD in savings. The estimated interest since the last payment (three days ago) is around $0.20 HBD.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

What would you do?

Now I would buy Hive and not HBD. At a distance it will not be 20% per annum, but probably more than 100% per annum.

If it will go above $1 USD again, then certainly. But that is not guaranteed. Nowadays it is around $0.50 USD.

I don't think there is a 20% long term guarantee in HBD. And there is a good chance for Hive to rise from these bear market levels.

We will see. Many people say that the 20% APR interest rate is sustainable in long term in the case of the Hive Dollar (HBD).

Splinterlands pools are hot cakes at the moment, I see they are rewarding a nice return on daily basis, although the price ups and downs may trigger and make you uncomfortable. But, it's about time and opportunity.

It all depends on how much risk a trader or investor can take, market is meddling on sideways and this is where the micro-traders cash in their profits.

I buy Hive at around 0.48 0.485 0.49 0.50 and when it will hit 0.51 or 0.52 then I'll sell some to grab my HBD back.

Good luck and keep it up with your long term strategy.

Indeed. The SWAP.HIVE:SPS liquidity pool currently has an interest rate of 75.52% APR. I currently have $0.79 USD (0.786 SWAP.HIVE and 5.587 SPS) in it. This is not much of an investment, but I do not like to risk big amounts.

I buy Hive at around 0.48 0.485 0.49 0.50 and when it will hit 0.51 or 0.52 then I'll sell some to grab my HBD back.

This kind of trade requires big bravery, because HIve can go below or above these values anytime.
