To buy or not to buy? But seriously. Remember when Hive was around $0.10 USD? I have not bought it then. But now I am seriously considering buying more SPS by selling some of my Hive Engine tokens.
I currently have 359.281 SPS, and this currently worth $66.98 USD. I still remember, when my SPS collection was worth around $200 USD, and the SPS was around $0.90 USD.
The SPS is currently worth $0.186 USD. I am still staking all of my SPS, and I will probably even buy some at these low prices. It can go back up at anytime.

Good question, and i’m also interested for the answer. But after i checked the SPS site of my profile i’ve seen its aleady 453M Total supply, it almost doubled within 2 months.
I will probably buy some SPS by selling some of my Hive Engine tokens. The liquid tokens in my Hive Engine wallet is currently worth $79.62 USD. I am thinking about selling a part of certain Hive Engine tokens for up to $5 USD, so I am not planning a huge SPS buying. Maybe this is a good idea, maybe not. Maybe the SPS will stick around $0.10 USD and $0.20 USD for years. Maybe it will go up soon. Who knows.
Im with both you gentlemen on those thoughts. We dont know for sure. We can infer, through all the clues available, if its a good time to buy. Depends on your situation, risk level, cash available. Lets keep grinding though.

Would be nice to know the future. I also sold some Hive Tokens to buy some SPS. If you believe in the game it could be worth it, since the developers do think it is the major Splinterlands token. If not, it is probably not worth it. But yes, there are tons of tokens being distributed every day, and many million still to come.
The question for me is just, whether other projects are more promising. I am sure, that other projects are going to have some good performance, but who knows. Good luck to you!

I have a feeling that now is the time to build and SPS will be a lot more rare after the airdrop ends. However I don't really feel like buying so I just earn what I can from airdrops.

Currently, the price of SPS is at $0.128 on the Hive Engine market.
The SPS I get daily from both my Airdrop Points and Staked SPS are worth so little that it is not worth trading for HIVE or other Hive Engine tokens. I decided to just stake them starting today. #NotFinancialAdvice
