Today I received a Venari Heatsmith card for the daily quest reward (2021.11.19)

Now I have 5 Venari Heathsmith cards.

But this card is so worthless (both in battles and financially too) ($0.16 USD) that I would earn more money by doing a giveaway than selling it. But I do not complain. This is still better than the usual potion quest rewards, which are literally worthless.

My total Splinterlands card collection is currently consist of 142 cards, and it is currently worth $910.24 USD.

Your post that was published less than an hour ago has already earned more than 6 times the value of the Venari Heatsmith that you won if you sell it on the #Splinterlands market.

I give you some !PIZZA and !PGM.

Actually it did not. The current pending payout on the post is $1.349, but the half of that will go to the curators, so only $0.674 is mine from that. The six times of the current value of the Venari Heatsmith card ($0.16) would be $0.96.

Thank you for the tokens. I give you some !PIZZA.

I should have been more specific on my comment, which, while fairly accurate about 30 minutes ago, did not mention that only half of the total post rewards will be given to you at the end of the 7th day from time of publication.

Thank for you the engagement and the !PIZZA.

I haven't actually used it because I'm more of a collector/renter than a player, but that card gets a lot more useful at higher levels. I've got a few max level ones, and the abilities it has then make it much better. Just keep getting them and someday, you might be glad you have them.

The problem with leveling is the fact that we need to have leveled up summoners to use leveled up monsters in battles, and that is very expensive. I currently do not own any leveled up summoners, but I have a few delegated to me.

Thank you for the Pizza. I also give you some !PIZZA.

Yeah, that makes sense. My advice would be to buy the cheaper cards and level them up, but rent the summoners if you can't afford to buy them. I'm mostly just buying rewards cards lately because the prices seem good compared to everything else.

Renting the summoners sounds like a good idea. Thank you both for the idea and for the beer too. I give you some !PIZZA.

I don't use that card either because I prefer to put on more damage usually.

Me too, and there are better cards for defense. At least on level 1-2-3.

I find myself quite frustrated with Splinterlands. I probably need better cards. I have won three cards, none of which seem to help, and I have not purchased any because I am relatively new to the game and baffled about what to purchase.

Splinterlands is mostly hard with the basic cards. I suggest/recommend renting better cards, because most of them nowadays are expensive to buy.
