GMLSPA Packs - By opening packs, you may obtain a variety of player cards and coach cards. There are 396 cards in all (including all players and coach cards as shown in the below table). Each GMLSPA pack will include five cards in it. There will be a 5% possibility that each card is a Gold Foil. Users can also buy and utilize Scout Passes to increase their chances of obtaining Gold Foils during pack opening.

At the release of phase 1.5, which is anticipated around the end of Q2 or early Q3 2023, a proposal to alter the mechanism of distribution for the SPS reward pool for land is being presented to a vote of the staked SPS token holders.

Now, users are receiving a sizable number of SPS tokens for nothing more than holding land claims and documents, which adds no value to the SPS token. This was always intended to be a temporary solution until the expansion's first playable version is published.

The proposal are requesting the community to adopt this idea in order to enable the SPS incentives to be distributed in a manner that more directly benefits the SPS token and token holders now that the specifics are in place as well as a general timetable for the first playable version. The whitepaper's SPS "mining" mechanism will require players to actively engage in the game and invest considerable amounts of DEC, as well as land plots, cards, and other resources, in order to generate SPS, which, in the case of DEC, directly benefits the SPS ecosystem.

An overview of LAND 1.0

The Mystery of Praetoria, phase 1.0 of the much awaited land expansion, is now being unveiled by the Splinterlands team, and we couldn't be more delighted! Before the release of the phase that will introduce the ability to stake cards on player's land, splinterlands said that they can introduce a release that will allow players to begin using their land, start reaping the rewards of greatly increased utility for cards and DEC, and playtest some of the core systems and mechanics. Phase 1.0's objective is to make some aspects of the system, such as card staking, DEC staking, and some early resource generation, available before the complete phase 2 release.

Land 1.0

The playable game and ecosystem will gain a few new features with the release of land 1.0, including:

1. Land surveying

2. Use of land deeds

3. Likelihood of purchasing and selling land in Splinterlands

4. SPS distribution for landowners who have had their property surveyed

5. A land deed claim

A property deed certifies ownership of the player-owned land holdings. A Non-Fungible Token, or NFT, representing each property deed is kept up to date by the Splinterlands gaming platform and stored on the Hive blockchain. These deeds may also be able to be connected to other platforms so they may be exchanged elsewhere. They can be purchased, sold, transferred, and traded between players. Land deeds can be purchased from other players or claimed using the land claim feature.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

You won't receive the guaranteed minimums if you survey fewer than 100 plots at once. You won't be able to add beginning kits back in the future if you don't purchase them at the time of purchase.

As NFTHUNTERS opens his plot, he receives common land. I'm hoping that commons will continue to be a worthwhile investment and that this will increase demand for buying it. While I am adhering to the strategy of surveying on my owned plot that I acquired in the game, if I had enough money, I would buy a plot that was on sale if price will drop less than 100 dollars or so on a discount is a good bargain.

I am still in the process of having my plot to uncovered and surveyed, and while I realize this is a huge deal, I don't want to see land become less valuable just because I paid more than $100 before for when land is still selling on HIVE-ENGINE . I am a little concerned that this will happen to my land because it will normally decrease in value as time goes on or it will go up overtime. Splinterlands is concentrating on this domain. Although my luck is not as good as others', and because I dont have 100 plots under my ownership, I have a lower probability of obtaining more productive land in the game, it is difficult for me to obtain legendary plots honestly on this situation.
