Splinterlands Battle Mage Secrets Challenge - Born Again

Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands battle mage weekly secrets challenge for this week. I will be describing one of my battles. For this battle, I used my account @yahuzah which is my spl account for all battles.

For this battle, I chose the Alric Stormbringer summoner. It's a water summoner that has the ability to add +1 magic attack to magic monsters. The mana for the battle was 18 and so I wanted to select 2 magic monsters from the water elements.

Battle Tactics

From the battle history, I predicted my enemy would bring earth monsters and I also would have if the battle mana was more than 18 but that influenced my summoner and line up choices.

I decided I would use magic monsters and if there was space left, I would select one other monsters I will talk about later in this post. I selected Djinn Oshanus as my first monster because of its void ability. It also has high health and with the help of my summoner, gained +1 magic.

I selected Thanalorian Scion in second place because it has 1 health but 10 shield. It has the *void armor ability meaning magic attacks hit the armor before the health. It was going to be helpful particularly with the addition of +1 magic.

For the third position and last position on my team, I selected HalLfing Alchemist. I went with this because it is a ranged monster with the ability to halve the attack of the monster it attacks. I was hoping that with whatever monster it would have the chance to attack, it would halve the attack.

Battle Details

Summoner buffs took effect and the battle began.

I attacked first with Djinn Oshanus and killed my enemy's first monster, Venari Markstrat. As a martyr card, it gave +1 stats to its second monster, Regal Peryton. This allowed it to attack my first monster. Since the ruleset was born again, Venari Markstrat came back to life. But I killed it again with my second monster. Again, my enemy's second monster gained +stats taking its magic attack to 4, health 8 and speed 7.

My Halfling ranged monster attacked my enemy's Regal Peryton who was now in first position but missed and my enemy's last monster reduced the health of my Djinn Oshanus to 6.

As the start of round 2, my enemy attacked first with Regal Peryton, doing a damage of -2 health while I also attacked with Djinn Oshanus doing a damage of -3 health.

At the end of the round, my Halfling Alchemist attacked my enemy's first monster and reduced its attack to 2.

At the start of round 3,I killed my enemy's first monster but it was reborn. My first monster was also killed but reborn too. I attacked my enemy's first monster again and killed it. At the end of the round, Fungus Flinger from my enemy ended up in first position with a health of 1.

When round 4 began, I attacked and killed Fungus Flinger which was reborn. Before being reborn, it took my enemy's last monster to an attack of 3 magic. My enemy's last monster attacked and killed my first monster.

My new first monster killed my enemy's Vernari Markstrat which again made its last monster gain +1 stats. Fortunately, my Halfling Alchemist attacked and halved my enemy's remaining monsters stats.

In round 5 of the battle, my enemy attacked first and I also attacked reducing its health to 1. It was clear here I had won the battle.

In the last round which was round 6, I killed my enemy.
