Splinterlands Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Up To Eleven

Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands battle mage secrets challenge for this week. I will be sharing one of my battles. For this battle, I used my account @yahuzah which is my spl account.

For this battle, I decided to use Mylor Crowling summoner because of the ruleset and also because I realized my enemy uses melee attack monsters in which case, Mylor Crowling will help me do more damage with the thorns effect.

1st Position

For my first position in my lineup, I decided to go with the Unicorn Mustang monster because it attacks from the first position. It also has a void which reduces magic damage and has a health of 10.

Battle Tactics

Looking at my opponent's history before the battle, I realized my enemy likes to use monsters who attack the last monster and so I decided that I would put a monster with high health in the last position who also has the opportunity to evade attacks.

I then decided to pick the Terraceous Grunt monster who although only attacks in the first position, has high health and the dodge ability.

To give my team an edge, I also decided to use Queen Mycelia who gives all friendly monsters +2 armor. This was also helpful because my enemy preferred melee attack monsters and ranged attack monsters. Positioning was important for Queen Mycelia because when she dies, the armor is removed from the monsters still alive. Because of my last monster, I decided to put Queen Mycelia in the fifth position.

_{Spirit hoarder}

Sometimes your plans do not work and so to help my last monster and Queen Mycelia, I wanted to use a monster who could heal the backline. Who better to do this than Spirit Hoarder. Spirit hoarder helped to heal my last monster.

_{Goblin Psychic in fourth position}

To help, I opted to use Goblin Psychic to help heal my monster in first position. This turned out to be very helpful to Unicorn Mustang.

I also decided to use **Regal Peryton in the second position to help attack more and possibly evade attacks from non flying monsters.

Battle Details

Summoner and unit buffs took effect and the battle began.

The summoner choice from me proved to be quite useful in the beginning but my first monster was the first to die. My enemy ended up bringing a monster who attacked my last monster. Though my team didn't directly attack him, the thorns did damage, killed the monster and I also killed the first monster of my enemy.

The battle continued and I managed to kill 2 more of my opponent's monsters.

By the middle of round 4, my enemy had only 1 monster left and at the end of round 4, I managed to kill all my enemy's monsters. The battle ended in victory for me.

The battle was fought and won in 4 rounds.
