Hello Splinterland warriors, this is my entry to this week’s battle mage secrets challenge. I will be writing on one of my battles for the just ended brawl.

For this battle, I used my account @yahuzah which is my designated spl account.

I chose Pyre as my summoner because it would grant me an additional speed. The monster I wanted to use as my first monster has a speed of 1 and that could be disadvantageous so I thought it would be wise to go with Pyre.

1st Position

Grum Flameblade is the monster I opted for to be in my first position. With a mana of 11, health of 10, melee attack of 4, shield of 5 and speed of 1, this looked like a very good pick. Follow me to find out if this was really a good pick.

Round 1

---

Upon clicking on rumble, my enemy took 2 shield from my monsters and a speed of 1 was added to my monsters. With the help of my Ash Mirage monster, I reduced the speed of my enemy’s monsters.

Ash Mirage from my line up attacked first and with a range damage of 2, reduced the shield of my enemy’s first monster, Living Lava by 1. With the second monster, Exploding Rats, my first monster was attacked and a -2 shield reduction was done. Because of its blast ability, more damage was done to my second monster, Ash Mirage.

My third monster, Lava Spider attacked next but missed. My enemy then attacked with his fourth monster, Orella Abadon and reduced the health of my last monster from 6 to 4. My last monster, Tenyii Striker then attacked my enemy’s last monster,Gorth and did a health reduction of -2. My first monster attacked my enemy’s first and removed the 1 remaining shield. Gorth attacked my first monster with its 5 melee and removed all my 5 shield.

My enemy’s first monster, Living Lava attacked my monster and did a health reduction of -3. He then attacked with his third monster, Ant Miners and did a health reduction of -1 ending the first round.

Round 2

Ash Mirage was the first to attack again and reduced the health of my enemy’s first monster from 6 to 5. My enemy then attacked with his second monster, Exploding Rats and with its melee of 2, reduced the health of my first monster from 6 to 4. An additional blast damage was done to my second monster.

My third monster, Lava Spider attacked my enemy’s first and missed just like in the first round. My enemy’s Orella Abadon attacked my Tenyii Striker with its 2 melee reducing its health from 4 to 2. My last monster attacked my enemy’s last monster and did a damage of -2 health. My Grum Flameblade attacked my enemy’s Living Lava reducing its health from 5 to 3.

My enemy’s last monster, Gorth attacked and killed my Grum Flamesbade. Gorth bloodlusted and gained +1 stats and my enemy’s 3rd monster gained +1 health. My enemy’s first monster attacked my new first monster, Ash Mirage and reduced its health to 1. Ant Miners, my enemy’s third monster attacked and killed Ash Mirage. The negative effect of -1 speed was then removed from my enemy.

My enemy’s their monster gained +1 health ending round 2.

My enemy attacked with his second monster and made a damage of 2 melee to my Lava Spider. A blast damage was done to my last monster reducing its health to 1.

Gorth attacked and killed my Lava Spider. Gorth then bloodlusted and his third teammate gained +1 health. Orella Obedon delivered the final blow to my only remaining monster, Tenyii Striker. This brought the battle to an end.

My enemy was able to kill me and not break a sweat hehe. I still need a lot of practicing. I thought I would win this battle but my enemy pro
