Splinterlands Battle Mage Weekly Challenge - Odd Ones Out

Hello warriors, this is my entry to the splinterlands battle mage secrets challenge for this week.

For this particular battle, I used my account @yahuzah which is my spl account.

1st Position

I went for Pelacor Mercenary as my first monster because I anticipated my enemy would bring melee minded monsters who would not have the flying ability.

Round 1

---

Upon rumbling, the summoner buffs were added to both set of teams. My enemy increased the speed of his monsters by 2 each while my cards gained an extra magic attack.

My enemy attacked first with his first monster, Void Dragon and did a damage of -1 health to my first monster, Pelacor Mercenary. With his fifth monster, Dragon Jumper -3 health damage was done to my second monster, Mycelin Slipspawn.

I attacked next with Regal Peryton but only managed to reduce the health of enemy's first monster by 1. My enemy attacked my second monster with his last monster, Grenader. With an attack of 2 range, grenader reduced the health of my Mycelin Splipspawn by 2. My enemy's fourth monster, Whelp Herderattacked Mycelin Slipspwan with a melee attack of 2 and reduced the health from 6 to 4.

My Mycelin Slipspwan attacked my enemy’s first monster and did a damage of -1 health. My first monster attacked my enemy’s first and reduced the health by 3 ending the first round.

Round 2

Void Dragon from my enemy's line up healed to 6 and did a damage of -1 magic to my Pecolar Mercenary. With his fifth monster, my enemy reduced the health of my second monster by 3. Regal Peryton from my lineup attacked my enemy's first and did a damage of -1 magic. The first monster from my enemy healed to 5 and 2 shield.

My enemy's last monster, Grenade attacked and killed my second, Mycelin Slipspwan. The fourth monster from my enemy's team, Whelp herder attacked my Regal Peryton and reduced the health to 4. My last monster, Gobson Bomber finally came alive to the battle only to attack and miss my enemy's first monster. My first monster attacked my enemy's first and missed.

Round 3

My enemy's first monster healed to healed to 7, attacked my first monster with 1 magic and reduced the health my 1. The fifth monster from my enemy attacked my Regal Peryton with 3 melee and reduced the health to 1.

I attacked the first monster of my enemy with my Regal Peryton and did a damage of -1 health. My enemy's last monster attacked my first while his third attacked and killed my Regal Peryton. My first monster attacked my enemy's first and missed. This ended the third round.

Round 4

My enemy's Void Dragon healed to a health of 7 and attacked my enemy's first with a magic attack of 1. My enemy's fifth, Dragon Jumper attacked my first monster and reduced the health from 5 to 2. My enemy's last monster then attacked and killed my first monster.

My remaing monster, Gobsin Bomber stepped into the first position and and received a damage of 2 melee from my enemy's fourth monster.

Round 5

With it being more than clear that I had lost, my enemy did the remaining attacks.

My enemy's first monster attacked my monster and reduced the health by 1. My enemy then attacked with his fifth monster and killed my remaining monster to end the battle.

This battle was fought and lost in battle 5 rounds.
