Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying yourselves. These past few weeks, I have been sharing with you updates on the splinterlands rebellion packs. Last week I shared with you how I opened my 7 packs bought during the pre-sale and the cards I got.

This week for the social media challenge, I will be sharing with you which of these cards are my favorite. Let’s get into it.

Ulundin Overseer

The Ulundin Overseer is likely one of the cards I have used the most from my rebellion set. It is a no attack card but I like to use it because it gives the reach ability. The reach ability allows your monsters in second position to be to render stacks. This is especially helpful when using melee attack monsters because players of spl know a lot of the melee attack monsters attack in the first position only. Few attack in the last position and some have the opportunity ability.

However, with the Ulundin Overseer, melee monsters you put in the second position will be able to render attacks, the catch however, is that this rebellion card has to be in the first position of your team. I think it’s still good because it has impressive stats. Though with a mana of 11, it has a shield of 5 and a health of 12. That’s very high and can be helpful to you in battle. Have you tried it out already? What did you think?

Thanalorian Scion

What’s not to love about Thanalorian Scion. This card has a health of 1 but it more than compensates for that void armor ability. The void armor means that all attacks including the magic attacks hit the shield before the health. And it so happens that this Thanalorian Scion has a shield of 10.

It also has the corrosive ward ability. With corrosive ward, when the monster is hit with a melee attack, Thanalorian Scion does 2 armor damage back to the attacker. The max armor of the stacker is reduced by 2.

This monster has a magic attack of 1 and a speed of 1 but a mana of 5. Meaning it can be used in both high mana and low mana battles. With it being a magic attack monster, it means you can position it in any position and it will still be able to render attacks.

Harbinger Of Chaos

Harbinger of Chaos comes with the shield ability. The shield ability has proven to be very helpful in battles. In tense battles, your enemy missing even a single attack can prove to decisive.

The Harbinger of Chaos will help you reign down attacks on your enemy with its attack of 3 magic and a speed of 2. The right positioning will give you the best of out of this rebellion card.

Goballano Soldier

Before the general release of the rebellion sale, we were told there’ll be a new feature which is ambush. I didn’t quite get how this will come into effect but I’m glad to have used it first hand and have it used against me severally.

Goballano Soldier has a health of 2, melee of 1, speed of 3 and a mana of 3. It also has the ambush ability which means that before the battle begins it attacks first. It also has the sneak ability which allows it to attack the last monster in the enemy’s team. Cool right? If you position this well, with its high speed, it will do damage to the last units in your enemy’s team. It’s particularly helpful when your enemy has no monster that has the opportunity ability.

Brewmaster Abraxas

Another interesting thing we were told rebellion cards will come with us the ability for dual summoners. The Brewmaster Abraxas is one of such summoners. It is a dual summoner for the fire and earth decks.

If selected, you can get to choose units from both the water earth and the fire deck giving you a mixture of magic, melee and ranged attack monsters to use. One thing I have always found lacking in the fire deck is the lack of healers. Being able to choose this summoner will mean I can use Goblin Psych which is a healer from the earth deck. That’s very cool.

These five (5) are some of my favorite from the rebellion set. There are others I have found to like which I do not even own but over the next few week, I will keep you updated on which units and summoners I like.

Thank you.
