Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Having More Joy With Astral Entity

Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands social media challenge for this week. I will be describing one of my battles. For this battle, I used my account @yahuzah which is my spl account for all battles.

For this battle, I chose the Astral Entity summoner. Since magic monsters were out of this battle, I chose this summoner to grant all my monsters the dodge ability. It also removed 2 shield from all my enemy's monsters and granted me the rebirth ability.

Battle Tactics

In first position, I selected Venari Markstrat because his death would give my second monster +1 stats. I also did this because I wanted to take advantage of the rebirth ability. After death, it gave my second monster another +1 stats.

I selected Cursed Windeku in second position. It has the thorns ability, health of 9 and a melee attack of 2. I knew it wouldn't be able in the second position but since I anticipated my first monster will die early, I thought it was worth it.

For the third position in my team, I selected Arachine Thug which has the reach ability. Though I selected it in third, the quick death of Venari Markstrat would move it to the second position.

For the fourth position, I selected Silent Sha - Vi which has the sneak ability.

In fifth position, I selected Ureaus which has the sneak ability.

For the last position on my team, I selected Clockwork Aide who has the swiftness ability. It gave all my monsters +1 speed.

Battle Details

Summoner and unit buffs took effect and the battle began.

At the start of the first round, my Silent Sha - Vi attacked my enemy's last monster reducing its health to 2. My enemy missed its attack on my last monster and my first monster was killed. It rebirthed giving my second monster +1 on all stats.

My fifth monster killed my enemy's last monster to end round 1.

At the start of round 2, my enemy's fifth monster was killed. My enemy's second monster killed my first monster and my second monster, Cursed Windeku stepped into first position with +1 stats again.

My third monster finally stepped into the second position and rendered its first attack. Thorns damage was done back to me and my fourth monster reduced the health of my enemy's last monster to 2. My enemy's last monster missed its attack on my last and the second round ended.

In round 3, my Cursed Windeku attacked my enemy's first monster reducing its health to 5. Thorns damage was done back to me. My silent Sha - Vi killed my enemy's last monster. My enemy's Venari Crystalsmith healed my enemy's first monster and missed its attack on my first monster.

My enemy's second monster attacked my first reducing its health by 2 and receiving a thorns damage of -2 health. My second monster attacked my first and took a thorns damage. My enemy's first monster missed its attack on my first and my fourth attacked my enemy's healer.

My first monster attacked my enemy's first monster reducing its health to 2. Thorns damage was done to me and my health was reduced to 2. My silent Sha - Vi killed my enemy's last monster.

My enemy's second monster killed my first monster but also died from the thorns damage. My second monster stepped into the first position and killed my enemy's remaining monster.
